My plan was to use XRP gains to fund my own nook away from the shit and more importantly the time to do shit by quitting my wageslave job.
The opportunity cost of holding this has been enormous instead of just stacking something as normalfag as BTC when it was low.
The excuses are shit too.
>They need to show this is stable so that's why it can lose almost half of its value after the good news in July!
>they could flip the switch so it would be impossible to buy in before it reached its peak it'll happen instantaneously even though every other time it had major gains it didn't happen in less than a second but it totally will when it really happens
I know I'm totally in Sunken Cost fallacy area now and worry of losing what little I do have by other coins dumping if I threw into that.

Wrong.
I have not been advocating for the escrow to be burned.
What I've been advocating for is the threat of the escrow being burned.
The first vote for forcing Ripple to burn their xrp in escrow, should only have 1 validator vote in favor of it, and the vote fails.
Then each subsequent vote, will have 1 additional validator voting in favor.
The goal isn't to actually burn the escrow.
The goal is to scare the shit out of Ripple, the banks, and the US government, and force them to accelerate their plans.
It's to light a fire under their asses.
They've had enough years of us being patient, we're all really tired of how long this bullshit is taking.

Yeah, this is the most retarted take I've recently heard here. XRP settlement time is 3 seconds, so why would they keep it stable below 1 dollar then? Why not make it a 1 dollar USDT equivalent stablecoin? Why not 10 dollars? This is either pure demoralization tactics, or they need to keep it low for some reason until the case officially ends. Or maybe there are big boy pants buyers who told them to keep it low until they fill their bags. I have no idea, but this stable price theory is as retarted as it gets.

But comparing to shit like BTC, ETH, SOL, AVAX, TRB, ICP we are doing very very bad. And the funny part is I know some female normies irl who are invested in SOL and they are doing extremely well and probably spend about 90% less time in crypto than I do, kek. Life works in mysterious ways. I should be demoralized, or they pump normie coins to demoralize me,p but I just embrace it, laugh about it, think how funny it is that i'm doing so bad in comparison. Seriously how is it normal for Solana to have pumped constantly on the weekly chart for almost 3 months with basically zero dumps and the bull run for the alt market hasn't even started properly yet. Then you have everyone saying xrps next move will be to $1.30 ish and a retracement again if you believe TA fags.

Schemes are set out in waves.
Certain groups, load certain bags, at certain price points.
They are alerted to large pumps and allowed to dump and profit from retail and other out of the loop investors that are stupid enough to buy the pump.
Then a new level is set for the same scam.
If you are a long term holder it's mostly irrelevant. XRP lags btc and everything else and then it doesn't violently.
Repeat.

By the above process we go up over and over and over. Choose a massive pump to sell on. Another one will come soon enough.
Just this year there are the following pumps and dumps.
.38 to .48 in about three hours.
.45 to .54 in about half a day.
.47 to .88 in about a minute and a half.
Recently .61 to .71 over a day or two.

Start of year .34.
Now .61.

So nearly doubled, while BTC has easily done 2.5x.
Not good, unless you sold a massive pump and bought back the next week just once.

Whilst I cringe whenever I see the term "xrparmy", according to lawyers like Jeremy Hogan, the 75000 XRP holders were instrumental to the lawsuit result, do acknowledging them is good PR and marketing. But to your point, in view of their "if you build it, they will come" strategy, Ripple still needs to sell XRP to the open market to keep revenue coming in (especially with a $200m legal bill looming). The last thing they want are their most loyal dumping their holdings.
I think two major things yet to happen that may help price movement is the AMM amendment which may attract institutional customers to enter as they will be legally able to acquire XRP from Ripple, and The Clearing House rescheduling the CHIPS ISO 20022 implementation from November 2023 to April 2024. I know ISO20022 is not blockchain specific, but at some point markets will have to adapt to using blockchain to send transactions and financial messaging, and it seems this might actually be a final deadline that will transpire.

i wonder if the US government is using Tether to prop up the t-bill market (not directly, probably through NY fed primary dealers with one or two more layers of plausible deniability).

tether's mcap has gone up by almost 10 billion since October and it started climbing much more steeply after the ICBC bank hack disrupted treasury markets and made the yield spike.

the motivation is there because if it turned out that demand for US treasuries was actually even lower than reported than it would spike yields even further causing a lot of problems for the US government. Tether's ever-increasing marketcap would provide a good front for basically soaking up demand that doesn't actually exist, to prevent the system from collapsing for just a little while longer. idk just a theory
despite looking sketchy Tether is 100% plugged in to the finance networks necessary to make this happen

Historically it always has once the market rotates profits. Why would this time be different? I could list speculative reasons but I won't waste my time. Everything is a gamble, if you don't like your odds, place your bets elsewhere. I'm not here to talk mid-witts and smary little faggots into anything. Either you know how the market moves or you don't. XRP usually pumps hard towards the end of the rotation cycle. Nothing has changed, it will pump.
