It's so over for ETHcels

Sergey literally said that enterprise are just going to build their own chains. ETH's value prop has always been "The biggest, safest, most decentralised chain" which would make it the place for global settlement.
But that narrative has completely died. Now there will be 10,000 enterprise chains all connected by CCIP, ETH not needed.
Not only that, but with the MEV orgy and builder censorship, they can't even claim the moral high ground.
>too expensive for poorfags
>too corrupt for wealthy retail
>not going to be used by enterprise
Who is their target market, again?

Impatient twitter faggots are having a colossal meldown/are bitter about eth simply because the other L1's (ICP, AVAX, SOL, etc.) had far bigger surges over the past month. It's simply FOMO, nothing more.

Most major development and great smart contracts are still built on Eth. The main issues with eth are the atrocious scalability issues (which will be fixed in the future with their sharding upgrade) and it's market cap is already extremely bloated, which allows far less room for pumping.

JPMorgan, Citi and Citadel already published a thorough plan to launch on Avalanche and going to launch a collaborated project in 2024. Visa is showing interest in Solana etc. I don't think Ethereum is built well enough for RWA and TradeFi (It was obvious from technical pov even 2 years ago but many thought ETH network effect was enough to force itself and dominate every narrative, Clearly not the case), It should pivot to store of value desu, That's the narrative i would choose personally.

It's not partnership, I believe in Avalanche case there's already whitepaper out explaining how the whole protocol is going to work. Not sure about Solana-Visa relationship, Maybe some SOLfag elaborate on this

What makes a chain valuable is it's security: ability to withstand attacks, including the smart contracts on that chain. If contracts on a chain are battle-tested, holding lots of value for years while trying to be exploited, that's the measure for trusting a chain/contract with all the money of the world not yet on-chain. And with that measure ethereum is way, way ahead of everyone else. The only other network that can compete with it is Bitcoin, if it manages to get some sort of usable smart contracts with some L2 mechanism. Ordinals show that there is hope for Bitcoin in that respect.
