Simply roll your 25-50%+ profits into a new fomo alt, and you can't really lose. Also, keep some bitcoin to track the market - if all of your alts nuke, simply sell the btc, write off the tax loss, then use that cash to buy the bottom of each alt.

You're welcome.

I unironically want to do this, but I'm not sure how to find the next FOMO alt
I feel like by the time I hear about them, they are already close to the top

It all depends on the stage of the market we're in (see the market chart meme pic for reference). We're currently in the "disbelief/suckers rally" stage of the cycle. We could be in hope stage though. Either way, fomoing in late shouldn't matter, on the condition that the alt is in price discovery mode. The best way to find price discovery alts is to find new cycle alts that weren't exposed to the prior bullrun, or something like Injective that's already surpassed the previous bullrun ATH. Of course dips will happen, but like I said in the original post, you can either use your other alts' profits (not the entire alt, just the profits bit) or bitcoin to average down. You don't have to buy nor sell everything at once.

sounds like a good plan, just a couple questions
1. what platform do you use to follow altcoins?
2. are we including shitcoin casinos, or only professional coins

1. Dextools, coinmarketcap, coingecko
2. Everything outside of the top 10 coins is a shitcoin casino, but if your definition of shitcoin is just memecoins, then it depends which memecoins. 98% of memecoins die out and never regain hype again, so I wouldn't exactly recommend those. Again though, I'd just watch dextools, cmc and coingecko and see what the current hype narratives are and stick with alts in those niches (gaming and AI are getting all the hype right now, but some other niches I've missed might pop up that suddenly gain a hype train).

1. good good, i'm already familiar with those
2. currently gambling a small amount on bonk and dogwifhat right now, I think they are still good for a short term pump, I just have to decide when to take profits and roll into the next FOMO
