I highly doubt it, but it would be fascinating if this tablet records the sale of a whole proto-Hebrew clan's land holdings to that Balluti guy so they could go migrating with Abraham in search of their Promised Land. Far more likely to be a more mundane reason, but I bet a proper translation and analysis of the tablet would still be of interest to Old Testament biblical scholars trying to enhance their understanding of Babylonian Semites and their history.

I feel like in addition to the historic/biblical value you've got a great value in that provenance. I'm no expert but I think that would be an extremely rare thing, and potentially worth a small fortune if you can find the right buyer. Most of the tablets I've seen over the years are obviously recent looter stuff and I wouldn't buy them with someone else's money. Almost 4000 year old writing, that's amazing! And it's true collectible guns did pretty gud for the past years, if he knows what he's doing and see his dragunov as a placement i don't consider it a luxury item or reckless spendings. I could see that whole “history” as some watershed because the church was becoming too cumbersome and powerful that (they) enthralled a group of fanatics to rebel against that church and empowered them. Its actually pretty tricky if there is an actual collapse. The federal or state/local governments can get nasty when it comes to taxing or confiscating your money. Biden, or the next one, can sign a an order requiring you to report your PM holdings, turn them in, pay a huge tax, whatever. Even if illegal it will take many years to play out in court, so the requirements will still be in effect. Just look at covid lock downs. You will need to find someone who understands the real value, has something you want to exchange with you, will not steal it from you, won't report you (if required by "law"). You may only want to buy smaller items (one gold coin at a time) to fly below the radar. Look to the south american countries with hyper inflation to see how they are dealing with it and using gold and silver and dealing with crime including corrupt cops.
