>Looked like maybe Lassen posted some stuff for us and got banned again. Wonder if it's the jannies taking him out on their own or if /pmg/ still doesn't understand him.

I was happy to see lassen active and posting his schizographics this morning, I really don't understand why he always gets b& n'shitc&.

I've done some preliminary digging into the info on the tablet and it seems that the "year when the throne of Rimmon (Ramman) was made" was the 20th year of Hammurabi's reign. Assuming the accuracy of the current understanding stating that he ruled from 1,792-1,750 BC the tablet would date to around 1,772 BC, wild eh?

Trying to get a handle on the potential significance of the Semitic names is rather more convoluted, but a name like "Ibi su abu su" = "His God is his Father" is pretty noteworthy. I highly doubt it, but it would be fascinating if this tablet records the sale of a whole proto-Hebrew clan's land holdings to that Balluti guy so they could go migrating with Abraham in search of their Promised Land. Far more likely to be a more mundane reason, but I bet a proper translation and analysis of the tablet would still be of interest to Old Testament biblical scholars trying to enhance their understanding of Babylonian Semites and their history.

By the time they hit 30 most women know wealth doesn't last long. They're mostly looking for dudes with a steady job. No gaps in the resume.
Of course by that age they've got 3 kids, 20 exes, stretch marks, wrinkles, and a surly attitude towards men, but it doesn't sound like anon is exactly a prize catch himself so you gotta aim for a target you can actually hit.

>I really don't understand why he always gets b& n'shitc&.
I strongly suspect the powers that be watch for his catchphrase "I farted..."
But it could just be newfags that still don't get where he's coming from.

I feel like in addition to the historic/biblical value you've got a great value in that provenance. I'm no expert but I think that would be an extremely rare thing, and potentially worth a small fortune if you can find the right buyer. Most of the tablets I've seen over the years are obviously recent looter stuff and I wouldn't buy them with someone else's money. Almost 4000 year old writing, that's amazing! And a deed to land in ancient babylon involving the first hebrews. Absolutely outstanding!

women actually prefer men a bit overweight. Don't tell 4chan this secret.

if losing weight improves your self-confidence that's what matters. Not the actual improvement, women don't really like men that can improve themselves. They think it's their job to improve you.

so what happens is you lose weight, your confidence goes up, you become more relaxed, more social, better sense of humor. Women can smell these things. They group them under "confidence," and it's by far the sexiest thing a man can have. Or a woman for that matter. Being comfortable, relaxed, outgoing, ready to laugh. You can be the ugliest fucker in the room but if you exude confidence of a relaxed and good natured sort women will flock to you. If that means losing weight or getting fit, do it. If that means getting rich, do it. Whatever it takes to make you feel confident in yourself.

The other thing is it's not about you. It's never about you. Don't worry about your flaws, keep the attention on her where she wants it. Take an honest interest in women. Most of them are stupid and shallow but that's interesting too.

If you take an honest interest in women, and listen to them, they will fall in love, and they will have sex with you. Or date you if that's your thing. But if you do this you have to make some physical moves early in the relationship or she's going to just friendzone you. Or think you're gay. Or both.

It appears I'm in some lonely males general thread on /r9k/ or something similar. I was hoping to hear analysis on today's news and what the future might hold for metals in the coming weeks. I really don't need to hear whiney fat men complain about how women don't touch their wiener. Thanks.

Hottest guy on my work crew is also by far the ugliest. Maybe 5'4" tall, chubby, got a lazy eye. But he's laid back, talks with everyone, jokes around, listens to people, and the women always flock to him over much better looking and much wealthier and more powerful men. He's a chick magnet. Ugly as fuck, but everyone loves him.

obviously the average 4chan autist can't compete in that social arena, but we can be more confident and better listeners and that's usually good enough.

Specific. But tbf it's also true to most men who can grow a nice looking beard. Only people wearing it bad are ppl :
- who can't grow a proper, thick beard, like chinks
- if the coloring is all over the place (my issue, mustache is red, white spots few inches large left and right, dark hair everywhere else,... complete mess overall, look like a clown if i grow it too long. Thank god i've a strong jaw)
- gigachads gifted with a prominent, square jaw

Lanklets should avoid beards too, it doesn't look nice on skinny men. But skinny men don't look nice anyway.

I didn't pay too much attention to his posts, but i thought he said it was purchased as an investment. And it's true collectible guns did pretty gud for the past years, if he knows what he's doing and see his dragunov as a placement i don't consider it a luxury item or reckless spendings. It's even pretty smart i believe (as long as he takes his time to be sure to land a good deal, the reckless part would be buying the first one he see on sale rather than waiting for the best opportunity to show up!).

a 50% loss or a 2x moon in a single day or for an entire year aren't off the table with silver. It's been much higher than it is now, and it's been much lower. You never really know what it'll do. A 10% fluctuation in price isn't even an event worth noticing.

Well, there's your problem:
"women in the US"
If that's what you're aiming for, fine by me (though I do have to inform you that whaling is considered a big no-no, internationally), but if you have any self esteem, you should aim for something that's still human.

Agree, if it's been crabbing for 20 years a 10% or smaller move is impressive. But it breaks out sometimes and moons or dumps like crazy.

I think we'll see more volatility just because we're seeing less physical metal available being shoved around by more derivatives every year. We're still not seeing the sorts of stuff that happened even in 2008-13 though

If you're married you're very likely going to wind up with a fat or otherwise unattractive woman by your side eventually. Then you have to decide if you dump her for not being hot enough for your ego, or keep her.

At that point you will have grown out of measuring your own worth by your partner's looks. Or maybe not. Lots of guys leave their wives when they get less hot. Which is also fine, maybe those women didn't have anything going for them aside from looks.

But for people to adopt a new currency it is not necessary that they already have some. My stash of silver will go into circulation as soon as I need to buy something with it. Barter is so inefficient people find a new form of money very quickly.

The bar collector market is small, but they do seem to pay. It would be easier to just check eBay/Google on your phone at the shop if you find any obscure looking bars. Also check r/silverbugs. I think that's where the bar collectors congregate.

Pretty sure I saw him in 2022 if not more recently, but he thought Aurcana would reach 40-60% the Mcap of First Majestic (he may have been bagholding Great Panther too) so when it shat itself and rugged everyone I imagine that hanging out in /pmg/ kinda lost its luster if it didn't outright trigger PTSD lol.

I could definitely see those 2oz bars with the same footprint as the 1ozers being nice too, how does it feel and rate against others in your opinion? I imagine they use a bigger mold for 3oz bars but it would be awesome if they'd make little 3oz breadloaves.

we were kicked out of england for blasphemy against christianity.
We were so good at blasphemy that our blasphemy became mainstream and went right back to england and they're like, now we gotta kick ourselves out of england for blasphemy but there wasn't anywhere left for them to go so they just sorta rolled over and became blasphemers too.

americans, the founders of our country. The pilgrims. Most of them had death sentences in england for blasphemy.

american protestants practice a sort of "christianity" that would've gotten them killed in europe in the 15-1700's. That's literally why they're here.

over here we say they "fled religious persecution."
nope, they were bad christians and the old churches were going to kill them for it.

I could see that whole “history” as some watershed because the church was becoming too cumbersome and powerful that (they) enthralled a group of fanatics to rebel against that church and empowered them. I dont believe in the mystical aspects of christianity and you’ll have to excuse me. But you did mention they shipped it back to england and thus weakened the church there.

Its actually pretty tricky if there is an actual collapse. The federal or state/local governments can get nasty when it comes to taxing or confiscating your money. Biden, or the next one, can sign a an order requiring you to report your PM holdings, turn them in, pay a huge tax, whatever. Even if illegal it will take many years to play out in court, so the requirements will still be in effect. Just look at covid lock downs. You will need to find someone who understands the real value, has something you want to exchange with you, will not steal it from you, won't report you (if required by "law"). You may only want to buy smaller items (one gold coin at a time) to fly below the radar. Look to the south american countries with hyper inflation to see how they are dealing with it and using gold and silver and dealing with crime including corrupt cops.
