The market was bullish when the FED took the dollar off the gold standard
expecting the share price to be a rational value is the root of all losses.

still uncertain on how they will implement this to the world. People don't have enough money for electricity as it is. y'all think they are gonna lower the prices on electricity, cuz if not i don't see tesla going where it wants to e. It's more markleting than anything else. don't get me wrong, im rooting for them but i dont see them implementing this worldwide. fuck, never ever is there gonna be a decent electric car. What you pay less for "fuel" will be a cost extraain taxes kek

fuck; i apologize for the spelling mistakes. English isnt my first language, also i'm drunk. I see things more clearly now. Similar to speaking a new language. Alcohol makes me not care about the little hurdles you have to go to. I can see the bullshit before it happens. Just a sound mind on alcohol. Proof me wrong BIZ

>money no longer staked to the value of an actual commodity, it’s now just toilet paper without even the promise of being worth x amount of metal
>everyone puts that money into the market in an attempt to trade the valueless paper for paper that actually has value
Sounds perfectly rational to me.

I bought one of those steering wheel devices that lets my Tesla stay in autopilot without having to jiggle the steering wheel. I could've gone to sleep during my road trip from Atlanta to Orlando lol

>all have backed out of producing numbers agreed on with governments
>a few outright said its a scary space and nearly impossible to be profitable
>many rental car companies dropping teslas due to ridiculous maintenance costs
how is this company STILL worth anything, it's pretty obvious where this shit is going. they've run out of diphit early adopters and are having a hard time convincing average consumer to buy an unreliable piece of shit vs an ICE car with decades of development behind it

>People don't have enough money for electricity as it is.
In developed countries electric bills are laughably small and adjusted for inflation are one of the few things that have actually gotten cheaper overall. Gas prices meanwhile are higher than they've been in a while and it seems like there's little chance of them meaningfully declining further. Electrical generation is also expanding rapidly in the developed world largely because of expectations over the implementation of electrical vehicles making up a significant part if not majority of cars. The cost of electricity is literally a non-factor.

nice thread.
I remember the prive of electricity surging in lockdown. Some peeps are still paying off that bill. I don't feel that the EV shit is gonna go as hard as everyone expects it to be. Nowadays engines are so sofisticated that they're still cheaper using gas/diesel or whatyoumaycallit. they've become so efficient. Not to speak of the cost of maintaining both (EV and standard combustion) Still feel the latter will be cheaper and easier for the common folk.

It would be entirely possible for the US to add that much power production capacity over say ten years; after all the US has done that level of power grid upgrades before. Between 1990 and 2000 the US went from producing 3,038 billion kw-hrs of electricity a year to 3,801 billion kw-hr, a 763 billion kw-hr increase. And the average price of power only went up by a penny a kw-hr. A Tesla Model Y needs about 4500 kw-hr to travel 15,000 miles, thus with that level of increase you could add 169 million EVs to the road in a decade.

Now, whether politicians, their handlers, and the power companies would be willing to let the same sort of power grid improvement happen again is a while other question.
