first, it's kinda cool that i drew temperance right after it was the last card in the previous reading, even though i'm using a different deck

temperance- in the modern era it often refers to sobriety or abstinence from drugs or alcohol but really it just means staying away from extremes of any kind. like temperate climate. that's a good starting point for a reading i guess.

the hanged man, with 7 of wands and 4 of pentacles underneath it. 7 is a number of activity, striving for higher things, even though that activity means leaving comfort and can bring danger. 4 of pentacles, 4 means stability (think 4 legs on a chair or a square) and coins means $$/material things.
seems to indicate a quest for greater things that has been suspended or involved a long trial period. the hanged man is in a difficult situation but there's no clear way out of it for the time being. the bad news is: you are hanging in the lurch.

the next card, the Star, usually is taken to mean hope, going with the flow will lead to the universe bestowing blessings, stuff like that. some connotations of connection with nature or the greater spirit of the divine.

if you want bad news: it looks like for the time being you're stuck. but, you're building on good foundations and there's hope for the future. stay strong!
