I hate to say it, but yes, it is. It's not the 1950's anymore. You will NOT be able to find a job that pays enough to survive in this day and age without at least an A.S. I'm going back to finish mine after suffering for 4 years through bulllshit menial labor jobs and literal unironic homelessness. I'm probably the only homeless person that can do Calc 3. I have nothing but disdain and disgust for the college system which is the primary reason I never finished in the first place.

College should be completely free everywhere and it should take no less than 4 years for anyone to get a masters degree. Plebs get filtered out with GOOD education anyways. College right now is like High School in terms of education quality. Just make it advanced and all the dumb normies will scatter, instead of lowering the standards for them. And by them I mean minorities, since they have lower GPAs and favoritism in college admissions

Most of stem is a meme because the jobs themselves are high stress. Anyone who says otherwise is a lying sack of shit. Med field has a lot of debt involved. Only exception is rn nursing. They also have okay options like working in a school or a mental health ward at night (at night it's basically baby sitting sleeping people so easy money).
Fast pace jobs are a MEME. They will rape your libido and increase mental health issues which will also cause you to become socially dysfunctional. Aim for a job that pays decent while providing low stress. Then invest heavy. Learn some Macro TA.

Not correct. It's remained stagnant and the education system has always been a joke because it's basically consists of self studying anyways 99% of the time due to how poorly structured the classes are (such as not even having tests be related to homework, classes being structured in a way to get you to do bad rather than learning aka artificially difficult, etc.).
The reason college became the new high school is because the supply of workers has outpaced job creation which created a bottleneck which increased competition which increased barrier to entries hence needing degrees at all. Eventually you'll need a masters for the same jobs a boomer could get with a high school degree
