This. I'm literally homeless while working a full time job because I can't afford a place to live. A full time job cannot secure shelter. This would have been unthinkable in 70 years ago. I also happen to have legitimately passed university classes up to and including Calculus 3. Has that helped me in securing shelter? Nope. Not at all. Meanwhile, boomers with a 3rd grade education still make 6 figures with positions they got handed to them in the 1970's.
