MSOS will literally never go above $15, I'm from Kerrisdale Capital, me and my fellow Indian trader chads will be adding to our shorts, with maximum leverage, on the day of rescheduling. We haven't covered any of our current shorts and will only continue to add, you weedtards will continue to lose. I'll probably buy another mansion from the liquidity you moronic potheads provide.

Exactly, these dumbfucks unironically think their shit tier weed stocks are going to moon after an event everyone knows is happening. It's half priced in already with MSOS going from $4.80 low to $7.25, they will be very lucky to see a 2x from here as the top. Of course these are potheads so they aren't smart enough to understand any of this.

Once again bobos on suicide watch. EU still in the blue. Consoomerism is absolutely rampant, even here. Retail stocks just reported absolutely brutal and insane earnings this Q. Like seriously, how in the hell do people keep consuming so much? Not only higher volume but significantly higher prices.
Well, it turns out I was right. After such a long time of essentially ZIRP, people have amassed way too much money and pretty much everyone has a sizeable buffer. Only the lower classes are suffering, everyone else is on a shopping spree.
The market is already pricing in 6 cuts by H1 2024. Holy crap how is that even possible? How does it know that? How is it assuming such suppositions?

Assuming China doesn't crap itself totally, copper might be interesting in 2024 and construction makes a huge recovery and infrastructure keeps rebounding. But then again, maybe steel could be an even better investment.

Disagreed. Not only has inflation been hitting hard, housing prices have skyrocketed as well. The buffers don't matter as everything is more expensive. Which was bound to happen after years of zero interest, and even more criminal, printing money directly donating to shareholders (QE)

speaking of gains, help me decide /smg/.
i have an AMD option with the hopes they announce something big today. currently it's already up 10%, how would you set your stoploss (in % from initial purchase price)?

ranked by confidence, ascending:
>very low confidence, take profits now
self explanatory
>medium confidence, 0% stop loss
hoping that it goes up at open and maybe even more at the news, but if it dumps im also fine because i only lost the fees
>-5% stop loss, high confidence
might deviate a bit at open, so I'm hoping that it evens out and i make some gainz. if not it'll hurt a bit but nothing too bad.
>VERY HIGH CONFIDENCE (brainlet mode), no stop loss
AMD will definitely do something big today so it doesn't matter how much volatility there is because I'll be up tomorrow 200% hehe. I might have a short keep myself safe moment if it dumps tho

which one would you pick?

Issue is shale has consolidated bigly since the last time they tried that and tech has advanced even more so shale costs less to keep operating. And that little stunt they pulled fucked Saudi's economy more than it really ended up hurting shale so it's a pretty terrible and desperate option either way.

Deals were pretty damn good. Bought a Samsung A54 for under 300 bucks. Plus, why should they want to lower prices? Ever heard of price gouging? Ever heard of corpos benefitting from high rates? Ever heard of peak company profits?
Looking back at it, it was so damn obvious that the 2022 would be the generational bottom. There is no restrictive economic policy, the inflationary pressure is decreasing rapidly, and the housing market is still just fine.

That is the most recently updated graph. I would really love to see Q3. Big corpos are benefitting a lot from their cheap debt.
>>56887180
Overall I meant. Otherwise, the pattern in the graph would be pointing up, no? Inflation is of course going up (which is good) but the inflationary rate is decreasing (mainly as a result of y/y effect, significantly lower oil/gasoline prices, and slower price increases on food and other stuff).
Price gouging is always to be expected since everyone loves money but I am guessing they will have to be a bit more careful now since they can't keep blaming the inflation now.
But just look at all these retailers on the stock market and look at their over-exaggerated earnings this quarter. I never should have doubted the consumerism inclination of NPCs

not sure how things work in other countries, but here in my country all inheritants own a piece of the house, and they all have to agree to sell it. who has the deed doesn't really matter because there are dedicated institutions that manage property rights.

>also have you seen it?
I've been to it. it's an old house. the price is kinda OK for what it is. a bit overpriced imo but prices have 4x in the last ~15 years so whatever.

also, the realtor tells me they all have agreed to sell the house. thing is, I have no PROOF of that... but it would be stupid for the realtor to lie, right? ...
if they don't all sell their part, then I'll be left holding a bag I probably won't be able to resell or do much with. so of course I have to make really sure they ALL sell. there is also the possibility that one of them dies and even more people get involved in the deal...

so this is all about risk/reward, and I guess I've been stupid enough to fall for it.

and that's the fucking thing: how do I twist all of the disadvantages in MY advantage?
I could have them reduce the price further (I already tried...), but I'd risk them telling me to fuck off.
I could have them sell me something else for the cash they want.
I could impose very punitive measures if they don't give me the money back or sell to me.
all of that would be kinda worthless because they are poor and hate one each other. they are only selling for the money...

There's no such thing as trends though, they're a myth, a "trend" can break any second randomly. I slurp at levels that I consider low (for me it's WTI between $67 and $75) because of the limited downside, Oil can't go now from $70 to $60 as easily as it can go from $70 to $80, so if I slurp and it dumps I just baghold. You can't do that if you slurp at $120 because you might never break even, but if you break even in the low $70s you can just be patient.

That's fair, over some time frame longs tend to get paid out, unless we were to see extreme contango for an extended period such that roll costs eat all the upside. That's more of an NG phenomenon though.
I don't think it's fair to just write off trends though. There are legitimate reasons why trends exist and have value. For one, oil is a physical commodity and there's a link between today's price and tomorrows supply. The lag between a supply response to rising/falling inventories or rising/falling demand tends to create trends. In terms of speculating over the paper futures price, there is more value to momentum as it creates a self-reinforcing trend where speculators see the trend forming and follow, thus creating an even stronger trend.

I like bull call spreads and bear put spreads, especially in crab mode. You can btc the sell-side legs as we ebb & flow.

I don't get it.
To me, it's just another of an endless supply of screen caps saying things are about to explode in the market / bonds / banks / USD / energy / etc.
I think they will someday, but until someone gives me a date and shows me their stash of guns or gold or folio that matches their prediction, idgaf.

Anon, you have to understand every market needs these people. The people betting on doom. without them, there is no dynamic, or rather capital to take. Same goes for folks who think the line will continually always go up. In the long run, sure, but periodically you need to roast the 3x ETF and call tards just to keep the machine running.

News has been bad for a while and Nasdaq is up 5% on the month, 33% on the year, and 123% on 5 year.
So if it's bad, but it doesn't affect line, then why should I care?
Do the bearish caps you post cause you to invest differently? Have they made you money?

what do you mean by this? I cannot find anything but boomercoin references if I try to search it...

An anon here was posting about some incredible gains made from playing gap fills, using bjorgum key levels if I remember right. I'd like to know more about that as well.

So far I have mainly been looking at net gamma, as well as volume profile.

To add, I'm sensitive about this sort of thing because I was bearish for a while, thought a collapse was coming, and missed A LOT of gains.
There's always gloom if you look for it, there's a big market for it.

No, but we are different breeds, like dogs.

"There is only 1 race, the human race" is pseudoscientific bullshit that has been perpetuated by leftist scientists with an agenda.

Also, many species can inter-breed. All breeds of dogs can breed with each other, but dogs can also breed with wolves and coyotes, which are not in the same species as dogs.
