>and making them insanely rich
I'm not though. I work at a non-profit.
>inb4 non-profits are all scams you're making someone rich lmao
I've seen the financials myself.

Working for yourself has it's own set of negatives. Different people have different personalities and life circumstances and thus feel comfy in different jobs. Check yourself for autism.

You can always start your own business. I tried starting 2, both failed. It's a lot of work trying to take a business off the ground, and I am not talking about being a contractor and only employee in your company. A real business that can at least scale to ~50 employees is hard.

Now I work for someone else, I do not need to worry about a lot of things that go into running a business. I clock out and that's it.

Grass is always greener and all that nonsense. The reality of the matter is that not everyone is fit to run a business, I am one of those people

Because I don't work a tech meme job clacking away at a keyboard with the goal to create some financially motivated web app while a motherfucker with a tie behind tells me I have to do overtime because sprint review is on Friday.
Do actual, respectable labour that helps people, where you earn enough for a living and above that it's not about the money at all. That is, trade jobs. Weld, lay pipes (pun intended), make and repair electronics, nurse people.

I've done that for 20-some years now and am seriously considering getting back in the cage.

it's like working 3 full time jobs but with a lot more stress and responsibility and no real guarantee it'll pay off. I'm tired. I'm tired of worrying about money or sales or equipment or payroll or debts. Let someone else worry for a while, I just want a timeclock and forget about it when I go home.

They are all a laundering scheme
I don't mind people working from home but the problem is that the NGO save niggers in Africa by draining them through introducing wageslavery soaks up so much goddamn good will money and pays it right to a 40 year old roastie who will spend that money on gentrifying my neighborhood and the police will shoot me in protest of gentrification baka

That's exactly it. As a person on top you worry 24/7. Also you do work that is either too expensive to outsource or that nobody wants to do, because somebody has to do it and your employees aren't exactly keen about unpaid overtime.

Waging is not that bad once you have something to compare it too. I took the coding pill and learning now because subscription model seems very attractive in terms of management and overhead.

>they seem happy
thats just it. its just a facade and coping mechanisms.

most wagies cope by eating out and eating badly. they get a little bit of enjoyment from having a slave like them bring them food when they aren't working.

other wagies cope by consooming. its all just coping and working for the weekend. its depressing as hell desu. so many people never get close to their peak.
