I have more than a few old coins with chloride damage like that, it can spread via coin-coin contact too. Similar is "bronze disease" which afflicts old copper alloy coins that were found buried in environments rich in chlorides, starts as small bright greenish spots of powdery crap that just keeps spreading and eating deeper into the coin. Once at a LCS I was looking at a tray of low grade loose ancient coins and there was 1 the size of a quarter that was 100% diseased, the entire surface was that bright greenish powder shit and it had left a pile of disease dust in the tray, then started infecting the other coins it was touching. Pretty alarming to see something so irresponsible at a LCS but he went out of business not too long after.

I used to have a decent library of Music, movies, anime on CD, Blu-ray, dvd. Along with every every PS video game console ever made and a slew of games to go with them, a GameCube with games, and even a Sega Dreamcast with games. Plus a library of books on history, science, literature, art, philosophy, psychology, carpentry and mechanics, homesteading, and so on.
Moved too many times, downsized too many times and got rid of most of it.
Now is a getting to be a good time to own physical media though with the way things are going. Got to build up my library again.
