It used to be that one guy could deliver milk to people's door steps, and he could afford to own a home and raise a family and his wife didn't have to work. To afford that same standard of living today requires le cooleg degree, usually with a life long debt burden, and either a much longer work week or multiple jobs. The prosperity we used to have in America was stolen from us, and dogshit normies let it happen. I've only ever used their silver and gold refining and bullion-return services, haven't bought anything from them before. Anyone can send them scrap and get bullion sent back, and you can have them make things like Chad kilos which aren't available from them as a normal retail product. Monitor www.estatesales.net for IRL sales that look promising for old cheap sterling and you may find yourself with a kilo or 2 worth of scrap in short order that you can send in.

Be sure to research everything as some patterns or makes are highly collectible and worth way too much to melt, but I recommend turning the illiquid junk into nice desirable highly liquid bullion. It costs more to manufacture but their 1oz bars are really awesome.

If you look at my receipt you can follow along, here's the breakdown:

-I sent him a batch of scrap that after he melted it to burn off dead boomer grease and grime weighed 227.5 OZT
-He assays the ingots of scrap and calculated a purity of 91.6%
-Total pure silver content is 208.39 OZT
-If you're selling or refining over 100oz of silver, the payout is 92% of the silver, they keep 8% of the silver
-That leaves me 191.71 OZT that at a spot price of $24 I would receive $4601.25 for if I was selling
-Selling is for plebs, so I want 10oz bars manufactured, at a cost of $255 each ($240 worth of silver plus a $15 per 10oz bar manufacturing fee)
-They offer bars stamped with their pick and shovel PG&G logo, or a Skull & Crossbones, or a No Step on Snek stamp, I always specify that I want the PG&G logo stamped on my bars.
-$4601.25 is enough to cover 18 10oz bars, with $11.25 left over they applied to the cost of shipping

It's a small operation and will probably take a few months for your bullion to be returned, but they have always been legit since I started getting scrap refined in April 2020.

There was another anon hanging out in /pmg/ earlier this year who slurps cheapies at estate sales and then refines it himself to make poured/cast art bullion that he sells on Etsy, haven't seen him in a while but it was a cool little side-hustle. The problem with that is many people wouldn't really trust your product, whereas PG&G is a legit accredited refinery whose products are sold through APMEX and elsewhere so their bars are perfectly liquid. I'd definitely like to get a homebrew garage refinery going someday and start minting my own ancient/medieval style fractional rounds but it'll probably have to wait a few years.

We're definitely on the same page. Yes and yes, but the idea of sound money is merely one aspect in the overall "war" is my point. Using silver during a currency collapse would in reality be a local battle. We should be concentrating on methods (of everything) that remove us from dependance on the system, and share them, openly and without expectation, with our immediate community.

Those periods of opportunities might be narrow in time, but vastly more impactful than our current propogaganda machine is, provided that there is a lack of internet for just a few weeks.

Hypothetical: inflation starts to rocket. People begin losing their abilities to pay for necessities. Government responds with free money. Inflation necessarily increases as a result, as does crime and supply chain issues. Gibs don't help enough now and those without any savings left start swapping their jewelry and possessions to survive. Barter becomes the norm for items that sell out quickly or are unavailable. You go to your local swap meet and you start exchanging silver for items. Someone always knows someone who will buy PMs and a local value of silver is realized, becoming a medium of exchange for those without items to barter or just those looking to stabilize their fiat in the short term. This is a good thing, but it's merely one aspect of the whole resolution.

Imagine the same scenario, but you and one buddy show your neighbors how to start growing potatoes in old tires, or you give someone a couple chickens and a coop, or you ask for volunteers to setup rotating times and check on the elderly, or maintain a local defense, or take people to whatever medical centers are available, etc...the list goes on. Now combine that sort of (very basic) neighborly concern with the new usage of PMs as a defacto currency and some pirate radio stations for outside news, and there will be people in that area that never want to go back to the "rat race" again after realizing it was all engineered to keep us separated.

Just under 175oz of silver now, might be able to hit 200 before the new year. What's the best way to securely store your stack?

Realising now a small safe that can easily be carried away isn't the best idea. Even if the room is locked and my house has CCTV and an alarm. My insurance covers it and I've itemised my collection with receipts, but I'd rather keep the silver than be reimbursed.

Don't have a basement and can't drill a safe into the wall. Could maybe drill one into the floor of the garage.

Over here, my school education was completely starved of this. I asked my mum about her education and even she was starved of it, and that was a grammar school. One could argue that incompetence is the cause rather than an effort by the state to produce workers, but it being multi-generational and the elite getting a different education to the plebs tells you everything that this education propaganda machine is by design. It's just a more advance version of feudalism.
