Take out loans and lines of credit and do the following:
>make the payment on time (raises your score)
>pay lots of interest (raises your score)
>don't pay them off early (lowers your score)
>don't game the system (lowers your score)

Mimic my habits for optimum scoring. Basically you want to pay your statement balances on time, avoid interest, and have a higher total credit limit.

First, make sure you're doing the basics: Get a credit card if you don't have one. Use your credit card regularly. Pay all your bills on time.

Do you have a parent or relative with a good credit? Ask if they'll add you as a user to one of their credit cards.
