Investment in the market is kinda like an oil based water heater I have. It's got a crumbling intake pipe that they have put temporary filler over so the flames no longer visible. It works though, but it leaks water during use and uses a lot of fuel (inefficiency of investments to grow due to market conditions) while at same time one day it will just catch fire and burn. Entire market is held up by megacaps that have been able to resist the effects of rising interest rates. If the fee doesn't cut soon eventually they too will face revenue squeezes.

Once upon a time in the bustling city of Solar Mist Grove, there lived a mysterious figure known as Aurelius Evercrypt. Unlike the conventional capitalists who flaunted their wealth with ostentatious displays of success, Aurelius operated in the shadows, weaving a web of mystery that perplexed and intrigued those who dared to delve into the intricacies of his financial dealings.

Aurelius was known to only a select few, his existence whispered about in clandestine circles. His reputation as an esoteric capitalist stemmed from the enigmatic nature of his investments and the unconventional methods he employed. Rather than adhering to traditional market trends, Aurelius seemed to have an uncanny ability to predict shifts in the economic landscape that eluded the understanding of mainstream financiers.

His office, hidden away in the heart of Solar Mist Grove's labyrinthine financial district, was adorned with ancient artifacts and esoteric symbols. Visitors, carefully selected and sworn to secrecy, spoke of meetings where Aurelius would discuss investments with an air of mysticism. Rumors circulated that he consulted astrologers, tarot card readers, and scholars of forgotten economic philosophies.

In a clandestine interview, Aurelius spoke cryptically about his philosophy. "Capitalism, at its core, is a manifestation of hidden forces that govern the ebb and flow of wealth," he said. "To truly master it, one must embrace the esoteric aspects that elude the common gaze."

>TA not always right so no work
TA is simply observing repeating patterns that can give you an edge in the market. Eventually the patterns break, of course, but even then you can observe other patterns within the pattern that can help you predict that the larger pattern will break. Many many people make a lot of money observing these patterns, but you, some asshole on an anime imageboard have decreed it to be bullshit so I guess it is.

TA and meme lines in general are only useful to big firm algorithms. The actual lines themselves are used to bait retarded retail traders and also the occasional retarded richfag (see Michael burry) into making investments and taking the bait, then the algos dump eet or pump eet depending on what the inverse is. TA is basically a mirage. You take all the data from the meme lines and position yourself so you feel like you're at an oasis, but you're really in the desert where you're surrounded by Jews laughing at you.

The heat would have to run forever to keep the upstairs warm so it saves money to stay downstairs and just close off the upstairs bedroom. During the summer it's to hot to sleep downstairs and much easier to keep the bedroom upstairs cool rather than the massive open downstairs. It's a seasonal sleeping arrangement.

You can actually get better fills rolling.
Think about it from the MM perspective. It costs more to close a position, fully offloading delta hedges, and then later reload those same hedges as counterparty for a new position at a different expiry.
Cheaper transaction costs and less risk means there's more likely to be a cheaper fill.

Same reason basic spreads can get better fills than trading one leg at a time. Bundling adds value.
