If a rig costs you 30 a month and only makes 10 a month in crypto, but you think the crypto will do 10x over 8 years, how many rigs can you afford?

Now try it this way: If a rig costs you 0 a month and makes you only 2 a month, how many can you afford?

BTC halving is coming. Do you know what that means? The profits for miners will be cut 50%

Keep that in mind if you are trying to get a return on any hardware investment.

Profits for any coins made before halving is worth double you mean

yeah someone is selling me this model
Bitmain S19 Pro, 104 Th at 2000 usd, but I have no idea if I should, if bitcoing goes up in price do the rewards get smaller? or is the reward always the same during the 4 years after each halving? is just I got tired of losing money in bad moves, I have lost more than 5k in bad choices of coins and I had enough, id rather have a comfy machine farming me btc while I sleep and just never look at charts again

Do some research into who your competition is with your little 2000 dollar machine
Better off buying 2k worth of BTC and holding for a year

go to smoking hopium . io, that's the best calculator for the subject.

Mining Bitcoin is so dependent on your hosting provider (good luck running these pieces of shit yourself), energy price, difficulty rate... it basically all boils down to you thinking that Bitcoin is going to go up. It also adds the variable of your uptime and shit, difficulty or power cost going up and shit, basically from my POV it's just adding unnecessary risk onto the already risky (by normie standards) proposition of owning BTC as an investment.

If you lived in Siberia or were an electrician with access to massive amounts of power, then the proposition becomes much more attractive. But for average joe, it's pretty fucking retarded.

If you are here and you dont believe in btc going up whats the point, my energy is free so why not use it for something useful, it cants be as bad you paint it otherwise it wouldnt be a bussines model, energy I believe is the biggest hurdle and for me thats out for 0 bucks so why not?

No, but if demand for BTC stays the same for half the inflows of BTC then it will year at the marginal rate which will make it rise in price from decreased flow.

SO just buy KAS and loan that out on 1000x margin as collateral for BTC?

I don't know anon. I see one of those electrical boxes for multifamily houses and there's a cord just running a couple hundred feet off one and it goes a couple hundred feet into a house in the next neighborhood. It's on city land too so not like the HOA's notice it.
