i own 69 sky but i'm very skeptical of mesh networks in general. i don't understand networking, but as far as i know using a protocol other than tcp/ip doesn't prevent isp's from fucking your shit up. and skycoin will be useless without isp infrastructure. i also don't understand their plan to overcome isp infrastructure. do they plan to raise enough money to run their own fiber? because that's still illegal mostly everywhere.

It works both on conventional internet as well as via beaming long range (5-10 miles) wifi signals out from nodes.

Skyminer v2 is gonna have these wifi beamers. but you can make DIY skyminers too.
