Actually as far as I know, Russia has had loads of deals in the background and were exporting way more oil than what officially stated. This also lead to oil prices taking a dump some weeks ago. They and others want to produce oil. It's good business and a necessary one. Limiting supply is not exactly a long term solution for them.

What I don't get is some attributing this to EVs. Just last week or a few weeks ago the market was completely FUDing EVs and how the world is done with them. Suddenly they are back?
Nah, this massive drop can only mean two things in my opinion. Someone has started to produce way more or the market is expecting some sort of cooling down... but then, why aren't the indices down?
