280 market cap on half a drill. Its pretty risky buying now honestly but at the same time, Barrick bought at this level. However, for them, 20 million is peanuts.

I would say doubling down isnt a good idea, just hold. As for people with no position, up to you, have to be aware of risk but it might be worth a try.

Just took a random look at Compass Minerals, man they've taken one hell of a beating. They're now down to 2006 levels which is pretty mind blowing.
If these guys don't buy Salt and it actually becomes a producer, Compass is basically fucked out of business, because their salt business is like 85% of their revenue and they won't be able to compete with the cheaper producer.
If they had any sense whatsoever, they'd quickly buy salt for ~1 bil or whatever before it moves anywhere.
Any significant run will quickly put it very close to their entire company value, especially if Compass goes further down from here.
Actually pretty weird they haven't already bought it out. I bet they've put in some offers behind the scenes, but the offers were far too low.

i'm extremely bullish on natural gas over the next 5 - 10 years. i want a pure commodity play. i can trade futures and futures options in my account. it will not be "daytrading" but i'll using very long dated futures contract or call option.

my problem is that there is no bid/ask for instruments trading many years into the future. there is some open interest at various strikes for options but even a market order is not fillable. i tried. i've just put in a limit order for now and a price i'm willing to pay.

so my question what stocks can i buy that have the highest natgas correlation? it's puzzling to me that KMI is very cheap and doesn't match either oil or natgas price movements. whereas LNG has exploded over the last year while the natgas price itself is stagnant at historical lows $2-$3 abouts.

my ideal position is commodity pure play. then i don't have to worry about company mismanagement. but i'm willing to look at anything.

Already have 1k oz of silver so not buyi g physical for a while. Been looking at buying ET and pouring the divvys and paychecks in for that sweet 9.5% div.

So my question is what is energy and oil looking like? Is now a good time to be buying?

Alternatively what other sectors or companies could i buy and get a 9%+ return.

I have a 5% car loan/student loan so this is the only reason im doing this and need decent returns to make it worthwhile after taxes and such

>> No.56688255

>>56687987

that was interesting to read about. but
>Oil and gas trusts face a strong headwind in the long run, namely the natural decline of their producing wells. As a result, investors need a high distribution yield to be adequately compensated for this risk.

this is the problem with my investment idea. if you have natgas reserves and the prices go up due to shortage, your revenue figures go up. but a production shortage indicates field decline. and the value of company or entity with a declining asset value is going to trend negative in the future.

so that's why i want a pure commodity play only on the price of natgas futures or calls. i have an open order on a call option right now. it's in the order book and visible to the market. the market makers are updating the call option prices even though there's no bid/ask visible. i'm currently posting a 1% buy spread limit over the quoted last price.

it wont get BIGs leg. It has already been DD by people interested, and not just BHS but everything around idaho. Willem and his fund lost a few days ago 500M by investing in a company near BIG who adversited their neighboor land.

Heres what GV said in his private group on BHS today :
>I know a lot on BHS and shared before its not interesting under the current form.

To be fair, you have to have a very high IQ to understand Bayhorse Silver. The technical reports are extremely subtle, and without a solid grasp of geology most of the assays will go over a typical investor's head. There's also Graeme's optimistic outlook, which is deftly woven into his characterisation - his personal business draws heavily from historical records, for instance. The holders understand this stuff; they have the intellectual capacity to truly appreciate the depths of this mine, to realize that they're not just bonanza grade- they say something deep about the economic system. As a consequence people who dislike Bayhorse Silver truly ARE idiots- of course they wouldn't appreciate, for instance, the humour in Graeme's existencial catchphrase "2 more weeks," which itself is a cryptic reference to when Graeme's mansion will be built. I'm smirking right now just imagining one of those addlepated simpletons scratching their heads in confusion as Bayhorse's three PhD geologist genius unfolds itself on /biz/. What fools... how I pity them. And yes by the way, I DO have a Bayhorse Silver tattoo. And no, you cannot see it. It's for the ladies' eyes only- And even they have to demonstrate that they're within 5 IQ points of my own (preferably lower) beforehand.

From what I understand of the industry, a big part of the uptick in uranium is due to sanctions on Russia, yes? It just took a while for the price to catch up. How long will these last (how long til Putin isn't calling the shots)?
They're beginning to roll out tests on SMRs (building them), which will be a key part in decentralizing the power grid (so EVs actually work and don't rape the power grid kek), so maybe the trend will continue, but I don't know. The research I did pretty much stated for the mines that OBRN is looking to purchase (as they have not purchased the Lucky Boy mine yet, this confirmation is apparently coming in 5 days), require a price of 90-100 to be worth while and will take years to "restart".
Then again the shares are so dirt cheap, even throwing $300 at it would probably be worth thousands within a decade, and if it flops, what's $300.
But then you have small cap producing uranium operations already producing like DML. who although aren't 4 cents per share, are still incredibly cheap. Guess it's the old risk vs reward.

Right, it's going to be him in charge until he dies, whether he's president or not, and as long as he's in charge, Western sanctions will drive the price up until there's production to fill that gap (which is going to take years). It's not to say that, whoever may replace him, won't have a similar agenda that causes the west to hate them still. It's just part of the consideration is all, major regime change in Russia would likely change the course of the price of uranium.
It probably IS worth throwing a couple hundred bucks at, but as for thousands I'd rather put that in an up and coming already producing uranium company.

If Graeme O'Neil was replaced as CEO of BHS either by shareholder removal or a buyout, there would be nothing negative we could say about this company and we would all be piling in. The BHS property itself is stacked with rich mineralization. For that reason alone, in a bull market when silver is running, BHS will gallop through the gates of paradise. Highly possible BHS goes past .2 this week based on speculation alone. All that fat ladybody fucker Graeme O'Neil needs to do is invest some of his nearly acquired capital into a deep drilling program. The capital is now available to enable that to happen. The full permit will arrive in due time. As we mentioned before, the US isn't in a surplus anymore and even the Democrats are recognizing the benefits of harvesting our raw materials domestically.

The strangest thing is that you hold out any hope for anything changing at all. "The full permit will arrive in due time" implies that something is in motion or you actually expect a replacement CEO. There has been literally zero news releases posted other than "check out our rich neighbour".

GO is going nowhere but the brothel and there is no reason to believe that BHS have more money now than they did two years ago, let alone that they'd spend it on something as frivolous as drilling. To think otherwise at this point based on another company's success is frankly embarrasingly naiive.

You are right that the only way Bayhorse will ever make any real money is if they are dragged kicking and screaming by spot price. Anyone in it right now expecting GO to do anything at all is gambling on hype, and the only "galloping through the gates of paradise" it will ever do is when someone finally puts a bullet in the ol' girl coz she sure ain't racing any time soon.

You're something of an idiot arent you? The nearby discovery is bringing money into the company so further exploration can occur. We're closer to buyout territory than we've ever been.

I'm in the green on Bayhorse even after the pullback Friday. Give zero fucks what the haters have to say. If you can't understand how the current news cycle can spring BHS higher then its current stock price you need a brain examination.

Our old theories about the vastness of mineralization in the BHS mine are being confirmed. Sure, we may have been naïve early on concerning the competence of GO was, but it is becoming ever more apparent we were correct on the topic that mattered most--the mine itself.

The stock has pumped based on that information alone. In reality, this only confirms our long held thesis that the Bayhorse mine contained a richer mineralization than we could definitively prove.

>GO is going nowhere but the brothel

>there is no reason to believe that BHS have more money now than they did two years ago

The nearby discovery is bringing attention and money into the company so further exploration can occur. We're closer to buyout territory than we've ever been. Would be hard for even GO to fuck this up. All he has to do is drill now.

I'm in the green on Bayhorse. I truly give zero fucks what the habitual haters have to say. BHS.V is objectively benefiting from the winds of a positive news cycle. If you can't understand how current events can spring BHS higher then its current stock price you need a brain examination.

Our old theories about the vastness of mineralization in the BHS mine are closer to confirmation. Sure, we may have been naïve early on concerning the competence of GO, but it is becoming ever more apparent we were correct on the topic that mattered most--the mine itself.

Right now I'm investing my money on the confirmation that the BHS mine is loaded with raw minerals, and the upcoming commodity supercycle.

I'll be honest, I don't expect GO to be in control of this company when it begins shipping; alternatively, that doesn't matter, because raw materials WILL be extracted from the mine. And the current stock price will be much higher when that happens than it currently is.
