Should I buy a condo for 300-400k in the greater Boston area or continue to pay 2300 in rent. I feel retarded paying to rent but I've heard mixed reviews about owning a condo.

In b4 some retard says "durr interest rates are so high why would you do that??"

we'll the answer is because I know prices around where I live will never fall, so I'd rather keep the conversation towards if condos are a good investment or not. TY

If you have 400k, buy a small house and the condo, then rent the condo out while you live in the house.

Or the reverse like living in the condo and renting your full home for a huge amount monthly

It's a good idea if the condo is in a trendy/high demand area. The problem with condos is mismanaged HOAs leading to runaway costs. I have a condo that I lived in for awhile but I got a low interest rate and I'm now renting it out making passive income.
