B i think won't happen internationally but Binance will be shut out of G7/NATO/AUKUS countries probably pretty dramatically and it might come as one big announcement

A is the big one. i don't know if Tether will be the first or the last but it'll be the big one, and will likely kill the entire ETH ecosystem (ie all layer 2s and maybe every chain with exposure to USDT as they all suddenly suffer a catastrophic liquidity crunch)

i'm pretty sure the most recent pump was iFinex/Bitfinex/Deltec cashing out as much $$$ from USDT while printing out of thin air to pump paper gains and attract exit liquidity.
