Look at just the chart of URNM, CCJ, or SRUUF (as compared to spot prices here: https://numerco.com/NSet/aCNSet.html?reload=true).). Utilities have pretty much done all the October spot buying they're going to do. So you're going to have very little "oomf", all the hot/retail/tourist dollars milling around, and inevitably some market shakiness or new shiny thing will capture everyone's attention and the uranium stocks will plunge.

That's what I mean by that first rule. This is a trade done against people who read "Uranium? Uranium." /smg/ posts and call that good enough to market buy CCJ.

I work for the boeing Defense side, space/commercial are shit. Boeing is at the stage where it's a monopoly but can't get anything done due to red tape.

Defense has tons of red tape too but that tape is from the government and all contractors deal with it.

there are two things to note, Boeing Defense can completely prop up the Commercial side, that's how much money those Mil contracts generate. Also Boeing is one of two players in the airplane industry, and unless you want to wait like 10 years for a plane your have to order from them (IE the only reason boeing is getting orders is because they're the only person you can go to).

Another thing to note is: one of the reasons Boeing is "unstoppable" is because they have factories and subcontractors all over the country, if you cancel one of their programs/projects, you guarantee job losses in tons of congressional districts. Making it very politically disadvantageous to do so.
(side note: gov is starting to preference "mom n pop" mil contractors, so that will slightly affect the mil side)

In short: To big to fail but to retarded to be successful (and the gov probably won't let them fail either)

Uh SWPPX in this example is a solid fund that matches the performance of the VOO ETF. Fees are the same. The only difference really is the divvy payout structure. Which doesn't mater since you reinvest that anyway. Also SWPPX on a per share basis is cheaper so you could say you've got more room to toss money into it each month without feeling the pinch say of other bills eating into your budget.

You also gotta figure "they" will want to get in on the Save/Jblu deal as cheap as they can. So yeah. nothing about the stock price action really shocks me. There will be no deal reorg terms either. It's already a done deal, contracts signed,etc. So once the judge rules in favor of jblu/save, wham $31 a share payout comes regardless of whatever the SAVE price is now or where it's at up to the day the judge renders the verdict. They want the trial done by Christmas so assuming Dec 22 the verdict gets handed down the money will start flowing in January after everyone comes back from the holiday.
