I am excited but also have mixed, cautious feelings about this pump. It was long overdue for an upwards correction, especially after how SWIFT/DTCC news had ZERO impact on release, lack of market reaction felt so surreal so it's only just now catching up. And yeah, everything else in the top 20 is garbage.

But the reality is that CCIP still has zero usage and revenue, and the networks are still subsidized with unsustainable economics and no value capture for the token. Do we want LINK to be just another hopium speculative shitcoin or do we want it to be "really different this time"? The issue I have with being a speculative shitcoin is how fickle the market is with these, and they'll just dump it when it suits their purposes.

In the previous bear market when it reached top 5, it reached it by being promising with so much potential, but it went from being severely undervalued to being overvalued, because top 5 exposure is when people starting asking the tough questions, like where's the revenue and how does it flow to the token? It wasn't mature enough for this kind of exposure. And this is why it fell off back then, and I worry it might repeat. And LINK is STILL not ready for that yet.

But then again maybe I just overthink too much and fundamentals simply don't matter, and LINK can now behave like XRP or DOGE without a double standard about its fundamentals, there's all kinds of garbage that pumps and gets hype without any reason and logic. So after all, why couldn't LINK be a shitcoin this cycle, just based on promises of SWIFT instead of actual revenue?

On the flip side, I think L1 rotation narratives have run their course, even Jump has failed to push Aptos and Sui. RWA interop is primed. But in a bull market, market gets dumbed, and we'll definitely see repeats of braindead narratives and VC trash while high IQ shit gets ignored. So IDK.
