Even with staking rewards ETH is still burning more than it's minting (deflationary) at the moment, and when L2/L3s are in full swing and general trading is at a high it will be even more deflationary.

Same thing with BTC is that the market rotated in cycles. Very few people still have the initial ETH, just like very few people have BTC from when it was $20 for 10,000. Those who did sold it for a house and a lambo and then the people that bought their exit bags did the same in the next cycle.

ETH is locked pretty closely to BTC because of institutional investors. What are you going to do when retail investors enter the market and are using ETH to use any of the products under its umbrella? What will happen to the price then?
