Why? if Bitcoin is going up and up and up, that means my alt-coins which have 5000X - 50000X less of a market-cap will go up even more by % points
>b-but bro, your alt of choice might not get a 100X!!!!!

Yeah and? Bitcoin is going top out at maybe 3X of 70k, so 210k, so if you bought at 20k you get a 10X if you sell the very tippy top. Meanwhile a thousands of altcoins will do 20X to 100X+

>b-but altcoins are dead bro

uh mmm, if dead, why are my alts that im holding done like 50% - 200% in the last month as Bitcoin rallied and are holding their gains?

Hey man, that's great. I'm happy for you.

Just saying. I do have a Bitcoin stash in cold storage that I will never sell. But with all the income I earn now I just put into alts. Just doesn't make sense buying at 700 Billion market cap when I can be buying 7 million market cap serious altcoin projects that actually are developing towards something.

your entire little screed is basically out yourself as a poorfag.
no one thats made it thinks like that. a few reasons:
(a) the more you are worth, the less you can invest in... the rich cannot invest in microcap shitcoins because their liquidity would swamp the market and cause massive spike that would then reduce the 500x to just a 10x
>bbb...bbb..bbbut just invest a smaller amount
not worth it - see below
(b) a 10-30% gain year over year when you are already worth 30m+ is enough. the risk / return calculation changes because of the marginal utility of money (ie. a 90% chance of gaining 2M this year is better than a 40% chance of earning 15m this year -- why? because the additional money doesn't move the lifestyle needle enough to offset the risk). if you already are worth 20M each additional million you earn does less and less for your lifestyle needle, so you naturally gravitate towards the "sure thing"
again. only poorfags think like you. you need to adopt the mentality of those around you who made it otherwise you never will

alts only trend up against btc for 1-3 years after launch, after that they never make a new btc high
you have to either move from old alt to new alt or alt to btc and back during the cycle
just holding a single alt for >3 years guarantees you've missed its top.

Ive done my bitcoin stacking, why would i continue at a 700bn mcap?

Makes no sense

I havent stacked any bitcoin since late 2020. Got my 7 btc and stopped.

I dont buy old alts, I dont buy high market cap alts, Im accumulating alts created in this bear market (2022/2023) alts and ill continue buying new alts in 2024.

Because if you've been buying alts since 2022 you're likely down a fuckload while if you bought BTC you'd be doing fine. Alts give back all of their gains in bear market and a lot of HODLtards are too lazy to sell so they lose everything.

I haven't been buying top 100 alts in 2022.

Ive been buying top 1500 alts, and they're all up.

>> No.56565588

Because it's almost guaranteed compared to the other options. Alts, even the better ones, are less sure bets. So if you already have a lot of money and want a 3-5x, you go significantly in Bitcoin. You wouldn't feel comfortable putting 1m into most alts that might 100x, there's always a chance they'll die or underperform.

The exception is a few alts like ETH and LINK (which was obviously going to pump hard when it broke from that range).

Your argument is only correct if you somehow sell the exact top of the bull market.
That's as far as you've thought.
You are literally a low IQ nigger.
