I'm a student and I've been making enough gains to not have to worry about getting a part time job to pay for rent/food(my tuition is pretty much paid for). I haven't cashed out yet because I have no idea about taxes.. What would my taxes be like since I'd be an unemployed student? I'd probably be cashing out 2k a month max

The only people that would be this retarded are Americans.

If you cash out 2 grand a month and that's your only income you are probably looking at around 15% short term capital gains tax. This is assuming you don't realize or report the other gains you've made and that you're in the US.

Seems like Americans are the ones with the biggest issues with taxes on this board. Are educated guesses really that hard?
