I'm assuming that it will, but how low could it go? Could this be the event that finally decouples BTC from the stock market? What did well in 2008? Just USD?

The US housing market is going to crash:
>high rates
>high prices
>low demand
>boomers dying/retiring
>nobody is getting married
>student loan payments are hitting
>quality of life in the "third world" has increased while in the US has decreased

I could go on and on.

>inb4 muh inventory
This is actually bearish because it means even a small amount of inventory hitting the market can tank prices
>inb4 "new normal"
How are people going to get money to buy your bags or rent from you? Have you ever heard of "real income"?
>inb4 muh immigration
Where are poor migrants going to get the money to buy your bags?
>inb4 they'll pack more people into one house
There are regulations against this, also, do you really think a house packed full of 50 Africans won't tank property values? topkek
>inb4 muh Canada housing
Canadian housing is like this because of rich Chinese wanting something outside of China. The US has much better funded and more draconian tax law for foreigners, so the US market is a much less appealing investment for Chinese who basically all commit some sort of tax evasion culturally.

They get $2200 a month from the federal government paid for through the taxes of people that cannot afford houses.

No, it hits the market because most of them are selfish faggots who have shit relationships with their kids and won't pass it on to them. OR, they sell the house the bought for $50 and a pack of gum for $950,000 and live off of the cash and just rent a cheap "55+" apartment that is only available ironically for rich boomers at a low price.

>>56538905
I didn't buy one like a retard, that is the point of this thread. I'm living comfy working remote on a US salary in Argentina eating $12 steak dinners with a bottle of wine and fucking Argie QTs, topkek.

kek, most normalfaggots get on fine with their parents. You should do more research before you make a shill thread, rabbi.

This. A lot of boomers actually can't into the future. They have their home on a reverse mortgage because they don't understand/care/have foresight enough to understand their kids are getting fucked.

You really think there are even enough immigrants for this? You "muh immigration" /pol/fags are actually retarded. Mexico is unironically becoming safer and more comfy at this point than the US.

>>56539050
Are you really going to try to argue that boomers don't have worse relationships with their kids than the generations before them? Even if 20% of boomers don't leave houses to their kids that is massive and they often have three houses to boot. This isn't even taking into consideration childless bossgirl boomer couples, of which this was the first generation that that started to exist. You're also assuming kids that inherit houses won't sell them for the cash and go live cheap outside the US. The word is out that America is a miserable hellscape compared to most of the world especially in terms of food and women, lots of zoomers that inherit will just sell and move to a cheap country with hot women that don't exclusively fuck blacks like in the US pussy prison.

>>56539101
Also this, boomers don't even need to be dicks to not pass this shit onto their kids, many of them are nice people but just mind numbingly retarded.

Yes. Very. I live around a lot of blue collar boomers with boats and motorcycles. They really don't think past the next paycheck. Many got a reverse mortgage because the bank is paying them for the mortgage.

There's still buyers and sellers out there.

Primarily Gen X/Boomers who don't have a large long-term mortgage on their property incentivizing them to hold onto it, and are sitting on hundreds of thousands in equity that will finance the purchase of a new house for them.

This one sold on Halloween for 50k above asking. 62 year old Boomers who bought 28 years ago.
