How will you invest to retire and not work once you make it this bullrun? Stocks? Bonds? T-bills? Will you buy a house or travel the world?

already have and I inherited the house because I'm not an amerimutt so we pass down family wealth between generations, I also have some passive income from the internet so I can afford my chicken tendies, video games and gacha rolls, worst case scenario I'd just sell the house, switch to a cheaper one and live off the difference, on the other hand I'd wanna ask what kind of life do you have where you have to worry about housing and food by default? do you not have parents? do they leave you nothing to inherit? I'd consider my family pretty poor, out of all my school friends I was easily the poorest, but I still have generational wealth passed down to me that allows me to just live like a normal person, how do you not have anything to the point where having a place to sleep and food to eat is a thing you think about? and what are you doing on /biz/ if you can't hustle enough for groceries without working? I understand people wanting like big houses or lavish trips or whatever but how is "not working" an objective? just don't work then lol, what kind of life do you have where you see work as a neccessity

Can you tell me more about how you make money from the internet?

>> No.56518487

I'll buy a house cash, plug enough into bonds/savings to make like $50k/year in interest, and then put the rest in crypto and equities (selling pops, buying drops).

I feel like if you have a house paid in full you can't ever really go broke. You can easily do some side gigs to make like $2-3k per month which more than covers everything (again, with housing expense being absent).

My goal is to have complete control of my time. I'll probably choose to work a little bit but nothing will be obligated. I'll spend my days working out, enjoying the beach, hiking, taking care of my health and wellbeing, spending time with my family. Stuff that matters, with finances being a complete afterthought. That's the goal.

True. You could put your house(or a room) up on Airbnb if you're desperate for money at some point.
