I went to this cool pub in Nottingham that was goth themed. It was all Vampire shit in there. Vampire chairs and hanging chains and skulls, everything painted black. Full of skulky little shady alcoves. The staff were all in Goth-style dress, all young adults with piercings and tattoos and shit who certainly dressed like that outside of work as well. The music jukebox had a big selection of goth rock and metal in addition to normoid shit. Anyway, I was having my drink in there and enjoying the ambiance when all the normal human beings arrived. They filled the place up, changed the jukebox music to Mister Brightside on repeat and absolutely shattered the mood. About fifty living North FC memes drunkenly stumbling around Dracula's castle. It was very very funny. Also someone made fun of me because I'd ordered liquor which is apparently a faux pas in pubs.
The point of this story is that normalshits don't give two fucks about niche subcultures, and are also extremely corrosive to those subcultures. When the people who flood you during peak hours are normal (as most people are) you find yourself compromising your vision to accommodate the wider customer base. I wish that niche businesses were more resilient to the mud-drenched subjugation of normalfag taste. But that's business. I think your business idea will end up the same way even if it is "successful", and slowly morph into something that plays Imagine Dragons on the radio.

Nottingham's pretty fucking cool. It's definitely got a touristy angle to it with the Robin Hood stuff. Lots of the streets are named after robin hood characters, there's the robin hood statue, etc. There's a castle. They also used to have people living in caves beneath the city, because it's all on this hill of easily-diggable soft rock, so you can go on a cave tour which is pretty neat. It's all very affordable, especially compared to London which was the only other city I visited. Dirt cheap food and alcohol. Downtown is pretty dense and concentrated, so you can walk everywhere worth going to and the rest is all just suburban sprawl worth skipping. There's a very beautiful canal you can walk along which is packed with houseboats and a big network of walking trails along the outskirts of town. It should also be noted that there's a lot of poverty and (apparently) crime but I stayed in the downtown after dark and felt totally safe. I'd rate it as worth a three or four day trip at most, beyond that you've probably seen everything and you could probably be satisfied in fewer days. Also hotter chicks than London by a lot.
