I have to attach them because I think one of the laws is that the home needs 2 exits has to be certain height and square footage. If these did not exist, I would simply buy a single shed or an RV and live on that on my land, but RV living is illegal after 6 months.

Those sheds aren’t very good value vs building it yourself which is not difficult at all and at that point why not have a proper foundation poured and just make yourself a legit small and simple house.
Utility connections are expensive as hell but if zoning laws don’t prevent it you can be off grid and truck in your water and get solar on the roof and a propane tank for heating and cooking etc. Lots of cabins in the woods by me are like that.

Ya. Last time I checked, singlewides were $95k - $100k. But, I don't think you'd have to worry about any County/Town bullshit. If you attach a bunch of sheds and live in it, they might try to fuck with you.

It'd probably be more expensive for me because I'm in the rural midwest where we get a lot of snow. A lot of our homes are 2x6 instead of 2x4.

^ I was looking at this one, but I don't think they can bring this exact type to my property. This is in Texas. I just want to buy 4 - 5 acres of land and out a singlewide on it. Then of course you need to drill a well, make a driveway and run electric to the house, I have no idea how much that would cost.
