I fell into the most bizarre job path back in 2016. You wouldn’t believe me if I told the story. Needless to say I think I like what I do, though I’d prefer to not work if it was a viable option.

To be honest, no.
I have been working as a nurse for 10 years, even though I only passed my medical degree, but not my doctorate because of money problems.
I thought I was going to do this until I had enough money to finish my degree, but with the little pay they give me it is impossible.
It is horrible to have to be the lackey of the head doctors, it is horrible to earn little or nothing (just enough to support me and my cats), it is horrible to have to be the asshole that nobody thanks.
Today I try to use my savings in some shitcoins (which is why I found biz), especially in VINU being that some anon put me in and it's not going bad at all, it's very useful for me that they don't charge gas to be able to save even more money. Thanks to this I can slowly pay for my career with a scholarship for my years working, but shit I don't want to go back to holding rotten body parts for hours so they only say thanks to my idiot manager.

Not really, it's a shitshow. It's a small business and I got in with no previous training or experience in the industry. Everyone is just trying to figure things out as we go and the boss is working insane hours to try and make things work while we constantly have to redo things because they're fucked.

I'm not happy with the quality control on a lot of stuff and it's affecting my self esteem because I like to take pride in what I do, but there are little established processes to work with. It's all just been trial and error.

My boss seems like a genuinely good guy and wants me to learn which is why I stick with it, but I feel like I'm letting him down just with my lack of experience and consequent lack of success. I feel like I'm burning out and finding it hard to even get up and go to work in the mornings.

Yes I actually have fun at work and the sense of comradery gives my life purpose. Best job I ever had. Pro tip: work in a field that is at least 99% male.

That being said, I've always wanted to be a male stripper. A man can dream...

Remember when living in someone's basement was a joke? People would say that you had to get a job to move out of your parents basement and get a real place to live. Now wagies see living in a "whole basement" as a good quality of life. They also think being homeless in a van by the river isn't destitute but rather "van life" and quirky. Or living in prison bunks is just "communal living".

I hecking love my job. I work at a bank, I love it a lot. It’s not always easy to stay motivated but it’s 1,000% easier knowing I get to go back to fucking around with trades at a moments notice. I would like to think it shows up in my performance too, I self learn a lot of useful information because I enjoy it.
