nah - look at risk stocks, look at ARKK - literally made a new low ratio of ARKK to QQQ for this cycle
I don't know about this argument either - inflation higher = bond yields higher = more attractive investments offering you yield, instead of an asset that doesn't offer you yield (eg. gold, BTC)
the only argument I would say inflation ties into BTC rise is that inflation higher = yields higher = systemic risk higher = BTC as a hedge

Adequate close. Still heavily short this jalopy. Today i went out to car to find it encased in a 1/16th inch thick shell of ice. Doors frozen shut. Hit the windows with ice scraper and it just skates off the surface without biting in to the ice at all. It took 15 minutes of work to remove enough for me to see. Very rare. You need a perfect combination of humidity, overcast sky, and sub freezing temps with freezing rain then snow for this to happen. Normally if there is ice on car it's really thin and scrapes off without much effort.

I wanted to leave the house today, but fucked up my face shaving, so I'm too hideous to be in front of people. This is like the sixth day in a row.
And since I can't go to the grocery store, I'm about to find out how long I can live on one ramen packet per day before I die of starvation or organ failure

>one ramen packet per day
Potatoes, rice and eggs, lad.

>> No.56444154

Yes, I also have rice, but idk how to cook potatos. I already know I'm terrible at cooking eggs. Last time I tried, I was on the toilet for like 6 hours

Yeah, but what if someone does look at me?
Dude, I'm 36. And I used to be able to do all of these things (shave, cook, etc...), but now I can't. Like I said above. My life is imploding. Idk how, but over the past year I've become really bad at everything I used to be able to do.
Maybe if TQQQ hits 45 by Friday I'll be able to afford a nice dinner or something

Because there's not going to be a pivot, a 20 bps rally in the 10Y doesn't save their balance sheets. They need aggressive rate cuts and they also need people to stop pulling their deposits, dwindling existing deposits due to the consumers running out of money is also probably somewhat responsible for the deposit outflows.

>> No.56444226

exactly. nothing has changed. if something had changed, KRE would not have made a new 4 month low today.

>> No.56444227

Not to sound patronizing but how did you fuck up a clean shave? Don't forget to change the razor frequently and using ample amounts of shaving foam

When I finished and washed off, I didn't feel like the shave was close enough. So I went over it again. And then again, and then again, and then 2 hours later my face was all razor burnt

Why shouldn't a big player announcing that they've covered their bond short move the market? Oh yeah - isn't it hilarious that it was just shorting, like I said it was the whole time?

>There's not going to be a pivot

>Yeah, but what if someone does look at me?
They most likely won't think anything at all, but even if they do think something it will last 3 seconds and they'll keep looking for potatoes. No one is looking at you my man, and if they are looking and they're thinking negative shit about you, fuck them

>> No.56444281

ouch... give it a few days and maybe try again when you're in a better state of mind.

>> No.56444296

Angle of the razor is probably off and/or youre not clearing it often enough.
>So I went over it again. And then again, and then again, and then 2 hours later my face was all razor burnt
yeah dont do that. Just shave the next day

>> No.56444347

>Why shouldn't a big player announcing that they've covered their bond short move the market?
because the bond market in the US alone is $51 trillion. ACKman's short is $3 billion tops, probably closer to $1 billion or less ---
>1 billion is approximately 0.001960784% of 51 trillion
of the bond market, and already got closed out; especially when closed out as a result of increased geopolitical risk
his short was literally 0.002% of the bond market, it's nothing, peanuts
