Why is capitalism the best economic and social system out there?

It goes along with human nature
Communism is an invention of intelectuals (theory vs praxis)
Feudalism is a forced oppression of the first lucky families

It's a decentralized algorithm for computing relative value of things that can then be efficiently leveraged to route things through the economy to where they will be most productively utilized. Only a global mind reading AI would be able to do this better. Communism is a meme attempt that will always fail.

Because it's the best method for one single entity to gain power. If you want to control the globe, capitalism is the means to get there. The boom and bust cycle is meant to bleed everyone dry--except for those at the top. It's unironically the path of least resistance for a world government.

It suited the technological capabilities of the times

So we can:

> spend a shitton of resources on competing car, make up, and laptop brands while sinking insane amounts of marketing and call it progress
> add random bullshit to the GDP that actively hurts society
> segregate schools and living environment by socioeconomic level
> have the afluenza criminal defense for rich kids
> overall invest nothing into the average person
> somehow still pretend that we are an egalitarian society

Don't get me wrong, I don't know of a better system and communism didn't work, but capitalism has a ton of problems.

Basically this. The reason why communism fails is that it takes for granted human co participation and harmony, it suggest eventually we'll get to total peace and equality and that is, in and of itself, a falacy. That's why i don't wander around leftist groups anymore. It's a nice thought, but it will never happen.
Capitalism is as good as it gets for us, we have to try to perfect it and get it as low in human suffering as possible to maintain it working. Focus on your gains, invest in your memecoins (remember monday launches in two days) and make it, then its our duty to perfect capitalism

Scandinavians already proved that a mixed economy with an ethnically homogeneous population is objectively the best type of society.

However, they fucked up on the last part and now their countries are turning to shit as well.

Holy fuck this place has turned into reddit. Norway is propped up by having oil arab money with non-arab intelligence. Sweden was the fastest growing market when it was still mostly free but now it's going downhill.

Capitalism is basically neo-feudalism at the end of the day. I do think the two party system does actually "compete" at some level for who will be milking the system next, and this keeps the country from going the way of Russia.

We really do need truly competitive elections, however, but again, very complicated topic.

Actually nationalist Christian theocracy is the best but it’s never been tried before.

We don’t know. Whenever there’s another type of government gets tried, capitalism tries to destroy it.

Because its just evolution applied to economics. Survival of the fittest produces very fit organisms even if they dont want to participate.

Why couldn't this "decentralized algorithm" be applied to socialism? It's just an algorithm after all. Why do you need capital specifically?
