Would a military draft be good for home prices? Wouldn't home owners need to sell if they want to avoid going to war, or if they die in the war? Think about it.

You're retarded.

For one the average homeowner is too old to get drafted. Draft age is 18-26, and still only applies to males. Even if it didn't, you don't need to sell your house while you're in. You can just rent it out, and the military literally gives you a housing allowance if you own a home and have dependents. If anything it would make the market worse in the long term because as soon all those draftees get out of the military, they're now eligible for a 0% down mortgage through the VA loan program.

I don't hate civilians, but y'all are so detached from what the military is like that it's frustrating that everyone and their dog has an opinion but literally no clue what the fuck they're talking about.

Banks can’t foreclose on active duty military.

Also it’ll make a lot of people eligible for a 6% mortgage while rates are 8%+
