The binary view is retarded, it's more nuanced. It can be very insightful working in a huge company and learning their structures and methods, another one is working for a small business or start-up and learning a completely different way of working. Anyways, being employed can have other benefits that are non-monetary. The problem is people don't seem to see those benefits or aren't able to capitalize on them at all. For example, a stable income is extremely beneficial if you want to invest into real estate, it's essentially a mandatory condition for your first objects, until your portfolio is big enough to pay for itself. Also jobs have super low barriers to entry, and extremely low risk. But it's hard to really get rich from it obviously. It's just a simple risk reward ratio in the end, it's not a scam or cuckery, it's an option everybody has to play it safe and in some situations that's objectively better than "hustling" or whatever

I don't particularly like working for someone else but running a business is stressful and you often have to make big sacrifices of time, money, or otherwise.

In many businesses the employees make more than the CEO and work less hours, and they have none of the risk - if the business falters, they simply get a new job.

Most business owners work a lot of hours and are constantly stressed, and have to manage a bunch of employees that generally don't give a fuck and will never put as much heart into their tasks as you would.

It's incredibly rare that a business owner can grow their business into a completely passive or turnkey business without the business crumbling from it.

Waging has numerous benefits. The only real downside of waging ultimately is you don't get to call the shots and often have to take orders from people stupider than you, so if you have problems with that, then you'll be unhappy.

here's a counterargument: I do almost nothing for long periods of time, yet I still get paid.
it all depends on what the job is and what your employer expects from you. big corporations sometimes waste A LOT of money on useless people, and you can be one of those people.

also, this:

by the time I had enough money I had enough wherewithal to bet on myself and buy and sell my own properties

i sell other peoples properties now, my own, and i have agents.

invest in yourself dont listen to these neet fags on here still playing minecraft. real estate is a gateway to wealth.

Starting a business is working for your customers and therefore being a cuck. Going public and doing an IPO, makes you a cuck for shareholders. If you become a NEET, you're a cuck to your providers whether parents or the government. You have no escape so just KYS faggot.

So what about commandsrs working under generals?
Same goes for middle management. What if you have your own deprartment, that houre the head of, but you still have people you report to.

Even CEOs report to investors and the board if they have one.
And we all report to God.

So idk what your point is but we all need to account to someone in some way, the key is to stay moral, and in control of the things you do control.

If i could quote fight club “Youre not your job. Youre not how much money you have in the bank, youre not the car you drive. Youre not your fucking khakis”

next generation is fucked because they don't know the basics that is actually knowing how to do a job, everyone trying to be their own boss but they don't even know what work looks like

the only time you should be questioning if you're a cuck or not is if you've been in a place for 3-5+ years and nothing has changed and you've learned nothing

This is true. a good way around this is to find someone decent to run the business on your behalf and give them a good amount of equity. i saw one of those interviews where a guy randomly asks someone in a rolls royce what he does for a living, and he owned a bunch of tanning salons or something. seems like he has his own formula wherein he opens up a salon and gets someone else to run the day to day operations and gives them 50% equity.
