it is always billed as "free money" with no risk, but what if the items you are selling get damaged, stolen or returned. are you on the hook for it or is the seller like amazon responsible?

"drop shipping" doesn't really work unless you're doing it against the TOS. to sell something you don't have then buy it on demand, works for a while, unless the supply isn't there and then you're fucked.

also you cannot get wholesale prices doing this, so you might save on shipping, and fulfillment, but you might have made more money simply buying bulk wholesale and letting amazon FBA.

some minimum orders on things are like 100 items for something that costs 1.50. I mean if you have a budget of 500 dollars and you know the thing will sell, then there's not a huge amoun to risk. just take some time to get your money back.

isn't the margin huge on wholesale vs retail? i'd rather take the time and couple hundred for a huge potential on return but you're right, something might not sell for a while so I get it.
if you do choose to do this, just make sure you're obeying all the TOS to the letter or else they will ban you from platform
