Absolutely. The number of projects that suddenly suffer a critical exploit when they're already in a death spiral is so comically enormous as a percentage of total exploits that it's a wonder people still trust anyone in crypto

I bought at like .30 and held all the way up to $5 and then back down to whatever it is now I don't even care because I'm rarted.

>> No.56389719

And people keep asking me why I always panic sell my alts, and I have this uncanny ability to escape said alts before "they get hacked".

It's quite simple to predict really - when an alt is imploding horribly against bitcoin in the middle of a bear market, it's a sign of an impending exit rug. I managed to escape Harmony One before that got "hacked". Albeit I invested $20k and pulled out $15k ($5k loss which still hurts), but that $20k could've turned into less than $1k if I fell for the HODL meme.

tldr; NEVER MARRY YOUR BAGS, UNLESS IT'S BTC

>it was a chrome zero-day goy, i swear

>> No.56390701

Setting aides that foundation funds should be a multisig with multiple people having hardware signers. I don't even get how a "chrome zero day" can get your wallet unless they were actively signing transactions or had compromised plugs in installed and entered their wallet password or something? Sounds like some body got phished or it was an inside job.

They now say on their Twitter that the wallet which was previously a Foundation wallet had been gifted to an Employee (whitout anyone else knowing obviously)... How does this even make sense?
Gifting Foundation Wallets? Then multiple ppl have the keys?
Blaming it on Chrome?
Ahh Andre... He is a slick Genius.
