I work for a crypto news site that some of you may have heard of. I am part of information management division.

Recently, we put out a tweet that stepped on some peoples' toes and may have contained some untrue information. There was a nearly imperceptible blip in the market as a result, and now my boss is talking about firing half my team. What should I do?
