Do we even know the company structure of Chainlink? Who owns it? Who has a say in it? Who actually owns the LINK supply? What's SmartContract.com, what is the Chainlink Foundation, what is Chainlink Labs - and how are they all connected? Who is working for who? What's the mid term business plan? How is the token legally connected to these companies? How is it accounted for?

You might say these questions are irrelevant, but in the real world they are actually the only relevant questions when it comes to investing. If you don't know your position in the equity/debt structure, and your legally enforceable rights and claims, you have nothing but hope and good will. I hold LINK but I seriously don't know the answer to this, and it's kinda odd how opaque the legal/ownership side around Chainlink is. A few years ago I checked out AVAX on this and they provide every detail on it.

Wait- is Chainlink a publicly-traded company now? Or what the fuck are you talking about, "investing?"

Buying a crypto utility token is not an investment in the company.

It's all connected. The only think left to do is disconnect this globohomo shitcoin and send straight to zero.

Why is CLL focusing so much on RWA now? I thought we were going to build CCIP into a monster. Are we being lead with carrots like donkeys?

What do you need chainlink tokens for?
You need eth for example, to move any erc coins, to participate in defi, to trade on uniswap.
I cant think of anything which would need you to buy link tokens.
This is probably why it cant pump

Chainlink is extremely opaque.
Many crypto projects have at least a yearly trasnparency report on how much assets they're holding (including ICO funds) and how they spent it.

>Buying a crypto utility token is not an investment in the company

this is possibly the most annoying thing I see parroted over and over in the crypto space. Complete bullshit wordplay used by scam artists to dance around having to be accountable. It is absolutely an investment. Every single person here who owns Link bought with the expectation of a profit later on. And on the company side, they literally use token sales to finance operations. It's the same way public companies use an ATM (at the market) facility to raise money instead of doing an offering.

Are you new? They pivoted to AI after Chat-GPT's explosion and no one cared, before that they pivoted to NFT's like Bored Apes and no one cares, before that they pivoted to blockchain casino VRF, and no one cared, before that they pivoted to Proof of Reserve after TerraLuna and 3AC, and no one cared

They are desperate and the world rightfully backslaps Sergey for the grifting leech that he is. Next pivot, screencap this, will be related to DECO after a cyber pandemic, an no one will care.

So after the oracle problem was solved, you are saying that they shouldn't pivot their interest momentarily to expand chainlink's functions to something new?

This is what I'm saying. I know we have no legal leg to stand on with LINK but they could at least disclose the minimum level of transparency and really explain their equity and funding structure. I don't even really know if Chainlink is a for profit foundation or not
