asking parents for moneys

my grandmother just died and my boomer parents will probably get around 100k (at least, a guess , has to be split with other siblings).

How do I convince them to give me this money so I can actually be able to afford to buy a house? It feels so weird and embarrassing asking for money but I can't afford to buy a house and living in a 1 bedroom apartment is just embarrassing when I am almost 30. Despite making more than median household income in metro area I live in
