Is buying a plot of land and making it a drive in movie theater a good financial decision?

seems like a good idea if you can keep kids from gathering in the dark drinking/doing drugs

Seems like a bad idea in a low trust society.
Probably will result in lots of shootings and expensive property damage.

this is literally the only reason kids come to drive in theaters

>drive-ins, diners, Friday Night Lights, McMansions, Main Street, safe downtowns with cozy warm soft yellow street lights and public libraries that didn't have homeless people masturbating and suicide dosing on fentanyl in them

America was so fucking based, it's hilarious how quickly it all went to shit. The best thing is that it's so fucking obvious which policies/ideas undermined the whole experiment and yet you still have disgusting evil creatures promoting those policies to this day

drive in still exist anon, I'm going to one on halloween

enjoy, would be fun on halloween

I know that all the things I named technically still exist, but they're scarce and worse off than they ever were in the past. My point is that things are generally getting worse in America, not better

Maybe you'll care after your first prison sentence for underage drinking and drug consumption on your property.

One DUI leaving your place will be enough to fuck up your business and your life.
But it's your life, you're free to take your chance.

it is probably a bad idea unless your really dedicated and have a vision and want to make it great. it seems like it could work in a college town or a wealthy suburb where the kids have nothing to do and plenty of money. get located as close as possible to a trendy fast food joint, bribe some people and get a nice writeup in the newspaper, sponsor a little league team i dunno it could work, but it seems like a very bad idea you would be better off opening a car wash or franchising a dutch bros or a jersey mikes or something

In 1946 maybe. I don't know why anyone these days would go to a drive in theater when you could just stream new movies from your couch.

this. thats the reason why driveins are only ever found in the boonies any longer.

>> No.56369060

I'm not an incel. I just don't see the point in paying money to watch a movie in your car in 2023. Going to sit in a theater makes sense because you at least get decent sound and resolution, but a drive in is literally going to be projector screen resolution with the sound of car engines drowning out the film. It was feasible back in the day, but nowadays not really.

Again, I don't see it being viable. If you wanna make money off of a big plot of shitty land open a shooting range. There's minimal upkeep, and you'll get business year round.

drive in theaters are kino *ba dum tish* but I don't know if it's realistic, I mean no one really does it anymore I don't think.
America is past her prime, the boomers wasted everything and we're in the hard times currently.
