What is some good gear to buy for a home gym? I want a pull up rack and some weights. Maybe an all in one type machine?

Pull up bar like the one in your picture. Don't fall for the memes. You will only use it for pull ups and chin ups.

One of those switch-weights dumbells.

--- real shit line ---

45lb bar with plates - you can do DLs and rows.

--- 4 srs line ---

Rack for squats and bench.

Basically, go to the gym unless you really can't or are really really serious about powerlifting.

I can get dumbbells and bar for cheaper than the ones that switch weights. I dont mind spending a bit if it's going to last me 5+ years.
I was thinking picrel, I can't actually attach it to the wall.
I don't think I'll join a gym, I'm too busy and like to work out daily and when working from home.

There is no point to those stations and they end up being flimsy as shit. You don't need any of that except the pull up bar. You can do leg raises without the stupid back bad. Dips are an accessory that you don't really need when doing push ups. So again, if you are doing light shit, you want a really good pull up bar that you can fully hang on without touching the ground and without being afraid it will fall (aka door bars, even though they work fairly well).

The different weight dumbells, the ones that go up to a decent weight, are pretty priceless since it gets you all your basic shit without a bar - rows, ohp, bench, squats, etc. Ib4 fit posting about lol4plaet.

Is there any free standing machine that is solid.. or integrates usefully things too, or do I really need something like the OP?
I hurt my knee using a doorframe one a while ago, it unhinged at a bad moment and fucked me up hence my search.
I also heard the weight changing ones break which is why I figure adjustable bars will last longer.
Idk /fit/ memes that place is strange to me

Just get a power rack and a barbell.
