Nobody knows it yet. Hydranet is the only decentralized exchange in the crypto industry. No wrapped tokens. Try it yourself. Arbitrum team will fund this project eventually. (They did an AMA recently on twitter) When this happens we blow out to +100 million dolar MCap. If we reach half the volume of uniswap, $$ will pour into our pockets.

I'm telling this one time. Big exchanges will list HDN$. First one is MEXC. After that, a huge exchane is coming. Top-5. I will disclosure it after MEXC listing.

The sad truth is there is no demand for a true DEX, no matter how good the tech is. They all have zero users, zero volume and zero liquidity. Unless Hydranet has hundred of millions of dollars for marketing and insitutional-level liquidity providers, they'll end up like AtomicDEX, BlockDX, BasicSwap and all the others.

>> No.56354859

>>56354830
All they need to do is list monero.

Is this the case OP?

>All they need to do is list monero.
BasicSwap has BTC-XMR atomic swaps and no one uses it yet. Unfortunately the "if you build it, they will come" mentality isn't true of crypto.

>> No.56355063

>>56354874
Huh, my thinking was that after all this kyc everywhere this would be the case for monero at least.

>> No.56355199

True DEX's are still brand new, cutting edge tech and as such they can be tricky for non-devs to use. With BTC-XMR atomic swaps, you need to be running wallets for each coin with the whole blockchain synced for each and then hope that there's sufficient liquidty for the pair you want to trade. That's too much work for the average joe and I think it will be years before that level of complexity can be abstracted away for the user and all DEXs need to find a solution to the lack of liquidity problem. Still, it's nice to know these things exist, even in their early stages, so that there is an emergency alternative to kyc everywhere.

It's not that complex if you are a regular DEX
trader, there is simple swap option. The thing is when every exchange wants KYC, adoption will be faster. But as you said it may take time. Early investors will get all the prize.

>waited 5 years for dex to be released

>finally release it into mainnet

>has extreme restrictions (based on the new roadmap, it won't be updated for almost a year)

>new roadmap says that this dex will become obsolete because they're now working on a Web Dex instead

>mfw have to wait another 2-3 years to go through the alpha/beta testnet phases all over again.

It sucks, but that's true of literally every atomic DEX project out there. They all ICO'd in 2017 and it took 5-6 years for them to develop something functional. People forget how early we are – this is cutting edge, first of its kind technology and we're still several years out from where it will be easy enough to use for mass adoption.

forget mass adoption, this isn't even getting crypto adoption

they're literally de-scoping the dex they worked on for the last 2 years. its on the new roadmap, see for yourself. they're pivoting to a webdex which everyone and their grandma does these day.

Oh let me guess, they've somehow figure out how to deploy the entire lightning node or whatever the fuck into a web browser, something that literally lightning labs themselves couldn't do in the last 10 years.

>just wait another 2-3 years while we test this, oh don't forget to pay for the bonds that we put out. oh woops some big wallets got hacked again and dumped, woopsie, definitely a hack, not insider wallets dumping...

no, not "literally yes". it literally DOESN'T EXIST. all they showed in the demo was a fucking web wallet that was being run on localhost, most of the features were not even usable, it barely even did anything.

This is the same bullshit "promises" of some ridiculous impossible tech to string along idiots that fall for it, the same way I fell for the DEX meme these past 2 years.

Mark my words, you will be talking about and hyping up this non-existent "web dex" for the next 2-3 years minimum.

Meanwhile they will open source the main DEX and binance or coinbase will swoop in and take whatever barebones tech they find and make it into a proper app.

I don't care when it's released, I'm living comfortably. I'm not a grifter who's upset because they got dumped on, I just like the project.

as a reasonable counterpoint I kind of understand whats going on with the design. they injected a LN compatible process into the web browser which allows the LN to be called into websites. technically speaking its the same architecture we have now but a different pane of glass. A shift for this isn't a big deal since the architecture already exists and is now well understood by the team

the injection method is assembly which as any reasonable person knows is the coding language you use when you want a machine that makes guns to fire guns
