One of the big things that make America work is that it must perpetually impoverish the working class to keep wages low and the dollar also allows us to import an ungodly amount of resources and products and services so inflation does not run rampant. We have some big fucking problems here in that a pretty decent of the young dumb working class is about to stumble into FU money, All of that work they should be expected to do is going to get tossed in with the retiring boomers. This is not supposed to happen no more than a cow is to sit down at the kitchen table and enjoy a steak. Most people here called it long before the splivvy that it wouldn't be enough to end things, and so far, no real results have proven that assumption right.
I still think an NFT divvie would be the real killshot, provided a market crash doesn't happen first. The real reason people were interested in an NFT marketplace in the first place was for the divvie and the possibilities of tying real and market assets to tokens on the blockchain. Judging by the content of the marketplace, which is still in beta, tells me this is still on the table, because let's face it, the way the marketplace is now is lackluster, and there's potential for it to be so much more.
It annoys me that for whatever reason, GameStop has not done this yet. But at least like you say, they did the splivvy, I don't believe this was ever intended to be a kill shot, but an attempt at tightening the noose around SHF and showing holders a little support, it was nice but they need to do more.
