Finally hit 6 figures in my investment portfolio (100% crypto). Should I de-risk into stocks/ETFs or just stay into crypto until next bull run assuming it ever happens? All I want is $1.5M to live off dividends and quit waging for good

Your young. Stay in crypto. If your old forget it and de-risk into stocks and etf.

>"de-risk" into stocks/ETFs

You're 100% crypto and you still do not understand that the real risk is not being in crypto? You can wipe your ass with stocks/ETFs/real-estate/physicals. The gains on all of these boomer investment vehicles are shit and will never make you wealthy like cryptos can. They're designed that way. If you want to stay poor then just say so.

what do you think the chances are that this time is different? I can't imagine people stop wanting to gamble, especially given how hopeless things are for the average person in terms of buying a home, building a family, finding meaning etc

Congrats OP. Go get some beers or something, that's no small feat. Now I think you *should* de-risk yes but maybe keep some for crypto since you clearly understand how it works, at least for the most part. Maybe keep a stack of BTC (or ETH) and like 2 coins you like. My next year's choices are Kava (staking it on Kinetix is a solid choice too), Polkadot, and Aptos. Obviously you already got your picks but I'm just saying if you think you want something new etc. Good luck, keep doing good, you are on the good path.

Do whatever you see fit with your wealth. I'd just buy some real estate if all you're looking for is passive income

I reckon if you put a lot of money into it it's 100% safer than crypto. Absolutely. Only if you already got a ton of money. And six figs IS good money. Not a lot but it's really good.

he specifically said you should keep a stack and get some alts (not shitcoins) because you never know when they'll rise up again massively. do not forget how sol became relevant again in a matter of days, for example. or the kaspa craze (that didn't last long but went against the tides very hard)

I consider privacy token to be more relevant so two tokens to pick will be XMR and RAIL. At least they are building strong and have real use for privacy while preventing surveillance.

high growth tech stocks are 30 year old and already absorbed maximum amounts of boomer money. you are just buying out the boomers buying these.

what would you suggest instead? Currently have ~$40k of BTC ~$40k of ETH ~$15k of LINK and ~$5k on a memecoin. I can invest $1k-2k/month.

I have 7 figs and 80% of my network in ETH. Should I take the tax hit and diversify 20% in index funds?

>> No.56317468

>>56316937
How many 7 figures? I wouldn't do this for anything less than $3MM, but if you're over $3MM and single/no kids yes it's time to diversify. I wouldn't necessarily just look at index funds, there is lots of opportunity. I'd look at blue chip tech stocks like Microsoft, Apple, etc. True, in a market downturn they'll get rekt, but they're not going anywhere and eventually are going to bounce back harder than everything else.

Why do you believe so much in ETH?
