Sergey keeps blabbing about trillions of dollars they're going to funnel into blockchain, trillions in real-world assets (RWAs). Do any of you honestly think that banks will work with blockchain lunatics like Vitalik, Charles, CZ, or whatever deluded, egocentric, soulless crypto CEO is out there? You think banks are gonna align with those schizos?

FUCK NO They're going to tear apart crypto as we know it. And you know what? It's for the best. The trillions they're talking about have to deal with the real world, meaning KYC, regulations, privacy. Do you really believe banks will just dump their client data on-chain for all to see? Hell no. What they'll do is keep those RWAs on their own private blockchains, make their own markets. Funny thing? We've been yapping about shadow banking for ages, and what the banks are up to is basically shadow crypto.

They'll use public blockchains, sure, but just for the managing the funds of degenerates playing with ponzis while in reality, blockchains will just turn into flashy databases used for settlements. Why the fuck would a bank bother with a smart contract on a public blockchain when they can just run an inter-bank smart contract with CCIPS cross-chain smart contracts, all verifiable on-chain?

I can already hear some midwit going, "But more usage means more ETH spent!" Seriously? You think ETH can handle transfers, trades, and smart contract executions from 11,000 banks? Bullshit. listen, banks already have working systems right now, why would they want to move to blockchain? you think that banks want to use the COINS? they want to settle trades in ETH or BTC? IT WILL NEVER HAPPEN.
they will do it, but with digital currencies peinted by central banks. and centeal banks my friend, they won't run on eth or btc, they will mint their fiat e-coins on a private central bank blockchain, blocckhain until now, has been a giant proof of concept, demonstrating that the tech works, it can be improved, but it reduces dramatucally the need for human intervention. this is absolutely massive for banks, because their systems even if they work, they are obsolete and cost a shitload of money to maintain.
