Hey boys, thought I'd ask here as I am always on this general. I am trying to create a logo from a ancient silver tetradrachm. In picture related is the coin with the profile bust of alexander the great wearing the namean lion skin in the fashion of hercules. I am trying to create a mono-color stencil of the coin. The middle is what my results are using gimp. The bottom two images are a generic representation of what I am trying to achieve. Not exact but not much different, perhaps something between the two or whatever. If I'm intruding here would you know of a better board to post such inquires?

Homosexuals in Greece were the lowest caste of society, they were depicted as deviants, fools and clowns in Greek dramas/plays.

They were not allowed to partake in politics or religion. The entire myth of this "gay" bullshit started when the historical enemies of the Greeks, the JEWS, obtained total power in Western academia. TO push their pedophile belief system, the TAlmud, they started washing their enemies, the Greeks with these lies. Knowing that Western people look up to the Ancient Greeks, the Jews pushed their pedo fantasies.

Banks, Wallstreet, and the Government are consuming your resources and spinning off literal trillions of dollars worth of bonds that can never be repaid. The system is a ponzi scheme and exists solely based on momentum. None of the banks actually have cash to backstop ALL of the deposits. So you are putting in good labor, good resources, into the system but when the music stops you will not be able to secure those same resources that you think you have.
Ask yourself, how is it that the federal government can just willy-nilly hand over tens of billions of dollars to Ukraine like it's nothing. Are these real resources or just the extension of credit. Do we even pretend that we will be paid back? What's going on here.

I just think they're neat.
The fact it pisses people off or is a "safer" investment than Crypto...aka a "Bank Man Freed" can't run off with my money in the middle of the night, with near zero legal repercussions, makes it even better.
Say what you want about silver or gold, but they have to physically come in my house to physically steal it, and that's when I give them my other investment metal, lead, instead.

A lot of the stuff is after 1968, no big deal, but i got 2.50 in face value of canadian silver halves for face from a zippy bag with 10$ in 50 cent pieces, and i successfully bought 2 silver dollars at face value from a zippy bag of 6$

its always worth it to ask tellers if your in Canada, i'm not sure for the USA, i feel like a lot more bank tellers are savvy / know their shit when it comes to old silver coinage in the USA

I like coin hunting dimes and quarters, i almost have a full roll of canadian silver dimes on the year, and 3 U.S silver roasies i found, and 8 silver canadian quarters

Previous anons gave good answers that i agree with. But desu desu, i just like how they shine in the light, and how they feel in the hands. Not to mention the sound of clanking 2 pieces together.
On a side note: can anyone give me more info on the bottom round in pic related? I cant seem to find anything about it, other than the Chicago Board of Trade having something to do with the Hunt brothers and their forced sell off in the 80's

It is a PM. It is too expensive to be popular on /pmg/.

Dunno what liquid means, but my LCS was willing to pay $10k when spot was $11k.

One doesn't prohibit the other. Look at Scrapfren, he buys cheap scrap, melt it into bars, sell some of the bars for more $$ he then re-use to buy more cheap scrap.
The other bars are for his long term stack in preparation for the inevitable fiat shitstorm.
He even find under the radar numismatic coins who both finance his collection and also give him a non spot-dependant investment edge while still being in PMs.

That's a smart way to stack for cheap without too much efforts, and even having fun in the process. And you better believe his stack giga-mog both our stacks.

>> No.56307754

>>56307699
That's a shame but at least the bars are rugged enough not to feel bad about taking them off.

>> No.56307765

>>56307754
I was hesitant to try it since i didn't want to scuff the bars. I found a pretty good way though. Hold the bar tight and push your thumbs hard against the back. use the friction to break the plastic.

Flip side. For this purchase in particular, i know the buffalo nickels aren't in silver (even tho the seller marked them as such), but the price was good enough for me to ignore it. Just like here >>56307694 where the 1F coin is in CuNi. It happens quite regularly, i'd say 30% of the time i purchase a lot of various coins marked as silver, there is at least one non-silver coin threw in there by ignorant sellers who aren't paying attention to the dates. I don't even bother warning the seller about it anymore since i purchase the lot knowing it.

Then out of curiosity i looked up buffalos' prices and found out the buffalo nickels actually are worth some money, so it was a pretty pleasant surprise!

1. I can tell you that the future will likely consist of many different kinds of metals being used as money.
2. I’m very tired of this PMs aren’t an investment bullshit, I’m tired of beating people over the head with a nuanced perspective that they will never swallow either through stubbornness or ignorance.
3. Gold Silver Nickel Copper - as money metals, has the very important significance of being used as money in the past and therefore if you are a follower of Austrian economics means quite a bit. That is why the other metals are called meme metals.
4.We can all get deeply entrenched in our individual perspective of our stacking journey and bicker about (which is fun sometimes). Let’s all consider that we are all acquiring real physical assets!
5. If you have a case for your metal that you would like to layout for everyone, We would all enjoy that in one way or another!

I worked for a company that had all their money in SVB and when it crashed earlier this year they almost lost everything. Stacking PM's is like keeping cash in case the power is out and you can't swipe your card at the grocery store. It's like keeping gas in your car or food in the pantry. Maybe we'll get rich but that's not the realistic goal, it's just awareness, you can't have all your eggs in one basket. Especially if someone else is carrying the basket. Also shinies are pretty.

>I can tell you that the future will likely consist of many different kinds of metals being used as money.
I wish it would turn out to be a reality, but i've difficulties seeing mankind going back to a non-digitalized form of currency.
This is something rarely discussed, but it truly was one of the fundamental changes internet gave us. Most here are too young to remember you had to mail in via postal services fucking checks when you wanted to purchase something you saw on TV or whatever. The entire process for your payment to be validated took a week at the very best. It was such a pain in the ass. And you never knew if your mail would actually reach the recipient, or if he'd add a zero to the check,.. it could get lost and you'd only know after waiting for weeks.

And that was only for national purchases, otherwise the process was much worse and expensive if you had to change currencies and send it to foreign lands.

Now you can pay in a secured manner in half a second something on the other side of the world, the time to click on a button. And you know the recipient is immediately aware of it, the amount is correct, and with a legal trail and banks' guarantees.
This is so incredibly convenient, i don't think we will ever give up on this tool who accelerated the pace of trades worldwide x1000.

Yeah you’re going to have credits that are issued by companies/countries digitally, you can accumulate those in a bio-metrically locked digital wallet. Probably your eyeballs. Then your going to have jobs that pay in metal and companies that will only accept metal, the government will turn a blind eye to this sector of the economy because they are going to be doing their dirt in it as well. You can receive credits for your metals by turning them in directly to the issuer of the credits and they won’t tax you. They will just take it and not ask any questions, they will throw it in their vaults because they know sometimes people just need credits and that’s a good thing.
