>> No.562991

English.

>> No.562992

Mandarin, Cantonese, Spanish, Portuguese, Russian, Arabic, Farsi, Swahili.

>> No.563028

Yea no shit

>> No.563031

French and Spanish are the easiest for English Speaker. Give one of those a try.

We just had this thread 1 week ago.

Chinese
German
Japanese
Spanish
Portugese
Arabic
Farsi
Russian
Dutch

Everything else is a total fucking waste of time. I'd put German and Chinese at the top of the list if your goal is to get rich in a hurry.

What are the justifications for these choices? Some of them seem obvious but why Farsi, Dutch or Portuguese?

>> No.563046

>>563044

When the embargo on Iran ends Farsi is a ticket to printing money. Dutch is useful in a lot of the world but not all of it. Portuguese is useful in a lot of latin america.

If you already knew, why make this thread?

English is the only language you need for business.

I believe if you are a serious billionaire, you should at least know English, Mandarin, and Arabic.

I might as well shoot my money into outer space while I'm at it.

MY FATHER TOLD ME TO SPEK THE GAELIC AND IT HAD GOT ME A JOB OR TWO

>> No.564130

Should I learn Mandarin or Cantonese?

>> No.564137

>>564130

Mandarin. Simplified. Unless you're planning on working in Hong Kong. Even then, you'd be fine with Mandarin + English

>> No.564138

>>564137

Cantonese is also harder to learn.

>> No.564161

>>564130
Mandarin. When approaching Mandarin I recommend learning traditional. I can more or less read simplified because of my traditional background, the same cannot be said for those that only learned simplified (even if they say they can). Also, if you're serious about learning Mandarin it will take multiple years.

at this point practically only mandarin chinese is worth it

south america will never develop, anyone worth talking to in africa speaks english, the middle east is a fucking fetid pit, indians speak english reasonably well, the russians will never let you in.

that leaves chinese

>> No.564379

>>562989
None.

Learning languages is either a hobby, or a skill for higher-level wage slaves. It has nothing to do with real business.

>> No.564382

>>564161

Only really old fags, Taiwanese and HK'ers use traditional script. It's not worth extra effort. If you decide you're desperate to learn it, you're better off doing it after you get simplified down.

>> No.564383

You should learn to hire employees who speak Mandarin or Cantonese.

Cheaper, quicker, and a thousand times more efficient.
