Lorenz's talk on CCIP security with analogies to aerospace security is really cool. I've never heard him talk before, he's good.
What other less hyped SmartCon talks have stood out as being worth watching?

>an adversary only has one shot before the anomaly detection system kicks in and the system is halted, and the shot can't count for much, because the rate limiting prevents how much they can extract in that one shot
The days of 9 figure bridge hacks is literally coming to an end. The industry is growing up, kicking and screaming along the way.

Johann's talk is pretty good, too, as a general primer on the importance of verifiability.

Most of the smaller ones are still just in the VOD tab on the SmartCon site, not on youtube.
Ben Chan's presentation, Klaster (PolyCode) for the multi-chain token app, Getty Hill from Oku Trade, Space and Time, Nowotny from Krypton is always worth listening etc

Bullish for the BUILD shitcoins in short

they had to drop the ticket cost by as much as link fell from the top and still only managed to fill half the room up.

makes you wonder why baggies still haven't realized why pure infrastructure alts always fail, and why chainlink has never been an exception.

Has chainlink failed? It seems to have more institutional interest than all other cryptos combined.

>> No.56276572

>>56276527
institutional interest means the kind of interest bitcoin has seen. what chainlink has is simply marketing.
there's a reason alts that have no retail utility always die, and that's because institutions have no need for outsider tech that doesn't already bring hundreds of millions of customers.

I just watched this guy (Breidenbach) speech on Risk management technique and I actually have to say this is extremely smartly done. Very intelligently.

This should solve every bridge hack and completely become the #1 solution for any type of bridge. Pretty amazing actually.

Yep, no more bridge hacks of any size. People will look back on these Wild West days and wonder why anyone dared risk large amounts on these primitive systems.
The positive effect that Chainlink has on the industry as a whole is ridiculous, they're single-handedly doing more than half of the intellectual and technological heavy lifting of the entire space.
