Broadcasting your income attracts precisely the kind of women you don't want, and runs the risk of inviting other unwanted attention in general. There are plenty of other more subtle cues to socioeconomic standing, and if women miss those cues, it's their loss.

With that said, a handful of my working class buddies are dating or married to upper middle / upper class professional women who looked past their income. The appeal, I presume, is that they tend to bring a bit of charisma and social clout to the table. Their women, meanwhile, try to gently nudge them into careers of higher standing, albeit without success thus far.

Overlooked the first part of your question, but I work on the more bleeding-edge side of the blockchain space.

Not sure what the market is like right for entrants right now with the contraction in tech/software industries, since I ended up here by virtual accident. however, if you can exhibit proficiency with the full stack in this area, or even parts of the stack where skills are in higher demand, it should offer a foot in the door, and the comp seems to be pretty accommodating regardless of nationality. Be sure to network and push code in public.
