For the year 2023 my country has an energy price cap
> a max usage of 2900 kWh at 40 cents
> a max usage of 1200 m3 at 1.45 euros

a. If your energy contract prices are lower than the price cap (regardless of usage), then the prices in your contract are honored in determining your yearly bill.
b. If your energy contract prices are higher than the price cap (but stay under the ‘max usage’) then the price cap prices will be used in determining your yearly bill.
c. If you go over the ‘max usage’, the first 2900 kWh and 1200 m3 will be calculated at the prices of the price cap. Any usage above that amount will be calculated based on your contract prices.

Currently I pay:
Electricity during the week/day
> 0.39 cents (this price is built up of 3 parts: price for electricity, taxes, fees for storage)
Electricity during the evening/weekend
> 0.35 cents (this price is built up of 3 parts: price for electricity, taxes, fees for storage)
Gas
> 1.31 euros (this price is built up of 3 parts: price for electricity, taxes, fees for storage)

Additionally I pay:
2 times 5.99 (per month) for network fees. For the upkeep and maintenance of the grid/infrastructure.
At the end of the bill I pay an additional 21% tax.

I ask again: Anons around the world am I paying too much? Is my country fucking me up the ass?

In the uk it's currently around £100 per MWh. That's 10 _PENCE_ (£0.10) per KWh.
